AIAPGET 2023 - Counselling Dates (Out), Result (Out), Merit List, Syllabus

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the All India Ayush Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET 2023) for granting admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy courses. 

As per the latest update, the authority has released the AIAPGET 2023 counseling schedule at aiapget.nta.nic.in. The round 1 AIAPGET registration 2023 will start from September 26. 

Earlier, the NTA AIAPGET result 2023 was declared in the form of scorecard on August 19. Candidates can download AIAPGET 2023 scorecard by entering their application number, date of birth and security pin in the login window. The authority released AIAPGET 2023 answer key along with the question paper. Candidates could challenge the answer key by paying the non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 per question from August 5 to 7, 2023 (up to 11:00 PM).

Earlier, the authority issued the AIAPGET 2023 admit card at aiapget.nta.nic.in. The AIAPGET 2023 exam was held on July 31 in computer based test mode. The authority had released the AIAPGET 2023 city allotment slip. Registered candidates had to check the exam city assigned to them through the allotment slip. 

On the basis of AIAPGET 2023, admission will be granted to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy courses offered in AYUSH Colleges, Institutions & Universities/ Deemed Universities in India. The AIAPGET result for 2023 will be announced online and will include the cutoff which must be secured to pass the entrance exam. The cut-off of AIAPGET is the minimum qualifying percentile that must be secured to pass the AYUSH PG entrance test.

On the basis of scores obtained by the candidate, the AIAPGET merit list 2023 will be released, while separate merit lists will be prepared for Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Yoga, Unani and Siddha courses. AIAPGET 2023 counselling will be conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats. While the remaining state counseling authorities will conduct AIAPGET seat allotment for state quota seats. On the basis of, AIAPGET 2023, admission will be granted to around 2,274 seats in AYUSH postgraduate courses.

Before applying for AIAPGET 2023, aspirants must check the eligibility criteria specified by NTA. Here are some of the crucial AIAPGET eligibility criteria for 2023:

• Aspirants must have a valid BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BSMS degree from a recognised institute.
• AYUSH graduates should have completed or are likely to complete the one-year rotatory internship on or before October 31, 2023.
• A provisional or permanent registration certificate of BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BSMS should be issued by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH), state board or deemed university.

To appear for the computer-based exam, it is mandatory for aspirants to complete AIAPGET registration. The steps to fill out AIAPGET application form 2023 are:

Steps to fill the AIAPGET 2023 application form

• In order to register, candidates must enter their basic personal details such as complete name, parent's name, date of birth, category, gender, nationality, mobile number, and email ID among others.
• While filling AIAPGET application form 2023, select a category, and enter permanent as well as correspondence address with pin code. Also, aspirants are required to select their preferences of exam cities in which they wish to take the exam.
• In the third step, the scanned copies of the passport-size photograph and signature must be uploaded. The images should be uploaded as per the specifications prescribed by the authorities. The specifications of the images to be uploaded have been mentioned in the table below.
• The application fees of AIAPGET 2023 must be paid online using credit/debit cards, net banking and UPI. The table below mentions category-wise registration fees to be paid by aspirants.
• After the successful payment of application fees, the AIAPGET confirmation page 2023 will be displayed on the screen. It is advised to download the confirmation page for future reference.

NTA will open the AIAPGET application correction window facility for all the registered aspirants. Through the AIAPGET 2023 correction window, candidates will be able to edit the details, photograph, signature and submission of fees.  It is to be noted that the correction window is a one time opportunity for aspirants to modify their details and will be available only for a specific time period.

Only the registered candidates can download AIAPGET admit card 2023. Once the admit card is downloaded, it is advised to verify the details printed on it. In case of any discrepancy in the AIAPGET admit card, it is suggested to contact the admission committee immediately. Below are the steps to know how to download AIAPGET admit card.

• Go to the official website
• Click on the 'Download Admit Card' tab
• Submit the application number, date of birth and security pin
• AIAPGET admit card 2023 will be displayed on the screen
• Cross-check the details and download it

It is important to carry the AIAPGET hall ticket 2023 along with a passport-size photograph and photo ID proof at the exam centres for verification purposes.

AIAPGET result 2023 will be announced in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check AIAPGET result online by entering their roll number, date of birth and security pin. In order to qualify for the exam, it is mandatory to secure the AIAPGET cutoff percentile 2023. For the general category, the minimum qualifying percentile is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th. AIAPGET result 2023, which will be valid for a particular session, mentions the name, roll number, total marks, subject-wise scores, All India Rank, category rank and cutoff marks.

In case of more vacant seats left under each category, the central government in consultation with CCIM may lower the AIAPGET cutoff percentile and marks for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in AYUSH. 

Using the scores obtained in AIAPGET 2023, NTA will release a combined merit list and separate merit lists will also be prepared for Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha. AIAPGET merit list 2023 will mention the rank of candidates and counselling details.

The cutoff of AIAPGET 2023 is the minimum percentile secured to qualify for the AYUSH PG entrance test. The regulatory body will release the AIAPGET 2023 cutoff scores with the result. AIAPGET cut-off 2023 varies for different categories. Candidates securing AIAPGET cutoff percentile and scores as per category will be considered qualified for admission procedure. AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) conducts the counselling of AIAPGET 2023 for admission to All India Quota seats. AIAPGET counselling 2023 will be conducted online on the basis of ranks secured in the entrance exam. The seat allotment of AIAPGET 2023 for AIQ seats will be organised in two rounds. 

During the registration process for AIAPGET 2023 counselling, aspirants will be required to fill in their choices of colleges and courses in which they wish to get admission. Based on these preferences, All India Rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors, admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma under AYUSH courses will be granted.

The counselling for remaining state quota seats under state/UTs/deemed/AYUSH colleges and other institutes will be done by respective counselling committees. The designated admission bodies will use the scores of AIAPGET 2023 to prepare state wise rank list for the allotment of seats.
