AIIMS, New Delhi has released the final seat matrix for AIIMS PG 2020 January session in the form of PDF. Significant changes in the seat matrix are removal of 24 seats from AIIMS, Rishikesh and addition of eight new ones. AIIMS, Delhi has got five new seats, similarly other institutes of AIIMS have also seen changes in seats except AIIMS, Bhopal. AIIMS PG 2020 January session was conducted successfully by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in online mode on November 17, 2019. The admit card of AIIMS PG 2020 January session was made available on November 7. This session of AIIMS PG 2020 was conducted for admission to as many as 546 MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh seats offered by seven AIIMS institutes located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh. The computer-based entrance exam was held in 68 major cities of India under which 16 cities were newly added and 12 were removed. As per the prospectus, 10% seats from the total seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) making a total of 53 seats.
AIIMS PG 2020 result for the January session will be announced on November 22, 2019, in online mode. The result will be provided in the form of AIIMS PG merit list mentioning the roll numbers, total as well as subject-wise percentile score secured, All India Rank and other counselling details. Candidates included in the result for January session can participate for AIIMS PG counselling 2020 from December 12, 2019. AIIMS, New Delhi will conduct three rounds of counselling excluding open and spot admissions.
As per the information brochure, basic registration for AIIMS PG 2020 January session will begin from November 27, 2019. AIIMS PG is a post-graduate entrance examination conducted at the national level for admission to postgraduate courses like Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and MCh courses. The examination of AIIMS PG 2020 has two sessions held in the month of January and July for which the entrance exam is conducted in the month of November and May. AIIMS PG 2020 will offer admission to the disciplines of Clinical Sciences and Basic Clinical Sciences.

AIIMS, Delhi has concluded the final registration of AIIMS PG 2020 January session on October 11, 2019. The final registration process had begun on September 27, 2019. The final status of acceptance/rejection of the application form of AIIMS PG 2020 was uploaded on October 23. The basic registration process was open from May 6 to August 27, 2019. As per the PAAR registration facility, AIIMS PG application form 2020 can be filled in two stages - basic registration and final registration.
In the basic registration of AIIMS MD/MS application 2020, aspirants had to enter their personal details along with uploading of scanned passport size photograph as well as signature. While, the final registration includes filling of academic and contact details, payment of application fees, choosing exam city and printout of the confirmation page. The AIIMS PG admit card 2020 was made available in online mode on November 7, 2019, for all the candidates who had successfully submitted the application form. The AIIMS PG 2020 admit card has been released in a downloadable PDF format. The admit card of AIIMS PG 2020 includes details of the candidate such as name, roll number, date of birth, photograph, signature, and thumb impression and other crucial details like the exam centre and timing. All candidates are required to mandatorily download the admit card of AIIMS PG 2020 by using their respective registration ID and registration unique code and carry the AIIMS PG 2020 admit card to the examination hall in order to be able to appear in the entrance test.
AIIMS PG result 2020 will be released in the form of merit lists on November 22, 2019. An overall rank-wise merit list will be released by AIIMS, New Delhi. Only the candidates who meet the cutoff requirement of AIIMS PG ie, 50th percentile or above (for all categories) and are deemed eligible for the counselling process are included in the merit list. After the release of the result, the authority also releases AIIMS PG scorecard which contains individual percentile. Each candidate is required to download the individual scorecard. The mode of release of AIMS PG 2020 scorecard is online and can be accessed by using the login credentials.
The cutoff of AIIMS PG 2020 is the minimum marks to be secured by each candidate in order to be rendered as qualified in the postgraduate entrance examination. The AIIMS PG 2020 cutoff as decided by AIIMS, New Delhi is 50th percentile for candidates from all categories. Percentile does not exactly specify marks but indicate a candidate's performance relative to others who appear in the examination. The conducting body will also release the AIIMS PG cutoff 2020 which will indicate the minimum percentile required to be considered eligible for counselling.
Mode of Counselling:
AIIMS PG counselling 2020 is conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS PG 2020 counselling will start with the mock round, which will help candidates in estimating the seat they are likely to get in the counselling process. The AIIMS PG counselling will be conducted in four rounds - first, second, third and open. If seats are left vacant after the conclusion of all rounds, a spot round is also organised to fill the seats left vacant. The mode of counselling for AIIMS PG 2020 for the first, second, and the third round will be online while the counselling for the open round will be held offline at AIIMS, New Delhi. All the candidates who will secure the cutoff requirement are eligible for AIIMS PG 2020 counselling. Candidates need to register online to participate in the counselling of AIIMS PG 2020 and exercise their subject and AIIMS campus preference. The process of AIIMS PG counselling 2020 will be entirely based on the candidates' merit ranks in the rank lists of AIIMS PG 2020 result. I understand your query and The entrance test of AIIMS PG is held two times per year in the month of November and May. A year ago, an aggregate of 26,392 applicants applied for AIIMS PG July session, of which just 13,192 qualified for admission to MD/MS courses. While out of 2610 applicants applied for MDS course, just 1336 breezed through the test. While we don't have the data for November test as far as now .

AIIMS PG admissions are conducted in two sessions: January session and July session.
AIIMS PG exam for the January session 2020 has been conducted on November 17, 2019 for which counselling process will begin from the first week of December.
Exam for the July session is conducted in the first week of May.
NEET PG 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2020 and counseling for admission will start from the second week of March 2020 (tentatively). Admission process is concluded till the last week of May.
NEET PG and AIIMS PG both are separate exams. I would suggest that if you get a seat through NEET PG exam then you should not leave that seat.
