JENPAS UG 2023 - Result (Out), Cut off, Counselling, Admission

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is the authority to conduct the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Exam, JENPAS UG. The state-level entrance exam in West Bengal, JENPAS UG, is a common entrance test for admission to a number of undergraduate nursing, paramedical, and allied sciences courses. 

As per the latest update, the authority has released JENPAS UG result on July 18. The final answer key was released on July 17. Earlier, the provisional JENPAS UG answer key 2023 was released on June 15, 2023. Candidates were able to challenge the JENPAS UG answer key 2023 until June 18, 2023 (11:59 pm). A candidate had to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per question. 

JENPAS UG 2023 admit card was issued in online mode. Registered candidates were able to download JENPAS admit card 2023 by logging through their application number and password. The JENPAS UG 2023 exam was held on June 11 in the computer-based (online) mode in English and Bengali language. 

The JENPAS UG registration 2023 was closed on January 31, 2023. The JENPAS UG 2023 exam time for paper 1 (All courses except BHA) is from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and for paper II  (For BHA) from 2 pm. to 3:30 pm. The questions asked in the JENPAS UG 2023 exam are multiple-choice based on Class 11 and 12 standard syllabi.

Candidates qualifying for the class 12 examination from any recognized Board/Council can apply for JENPAS UG 2023 online mode at wbjeeb.nic.in. Through JENPAS UG 2023, admission will be granted to around 4230 nursing, paramedical, and allied sciences seats. 

Admission through JENPAS UG 2023 will be offered in various Colleges/ Institutes in the following undergraduate courses.

• B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing)

• B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

• B.M.L.T (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology)

• B.Sc. CCT (B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology)

• B.Sc. OTT (BSc. in Operation Theatre Technology)

• B.Sc. PT (B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology)

• B.Sc. PA (BSc. in Physician Assistant)

• B.Sc. MMB (B. Sc. In Medical Microbiology)

• B.H.A. (Bachelor in Hospital Administration)

Before appearing for JENPAS UG 2023, aspirants have to apply by fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

The eligibility criteria to appear for JENPAS 2023 are as follows.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.

• The applicant must have passed already OR must be appearing in 2023 in class 12 in the (10+2) system only.

• The applicant's age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on December 31, 2023, i.e., the applicant should have been born on or before December 31, 2006

Authorities releases the JENPAS UG 2023 application form in online mode. The stepwise procedure the complete the JENPAS 2023 application process is mentioned below. 

Registration

• Enter personal details such as name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number, present and permanent address, mobile number, email ID etc.

• Then the candidate has to create a password, choose a security question/ answer, review and submit the registration.

• An application number will be generated and will appear on the screen. Also, SMS/email will be sent to the candidate.

• Candidate must remember his/her application number, password, and security question/answer. If the candidate forgets the password, he/she has to recover it through the “Forgot Password” option. 

• There is no other way to recover the password.

• It is not possible for any person/agency to change/edit/input any information without knowing the password.

Filling out the application form

• At this stage, the candidate needs to fill up various other information such as, domicile, 

• category, PWD status, family income status, religion, nationality, academic details etc.

• Candidates need to select his/her option for i) Paper-I only or ii) Paper-II only or iii) both Paper-I and Paper-II.

• Thereafter the candidate needs to choose zones of examinations in order of his/her choice and submit the application.

Uploading of images

• The candidate is required to upload JPG/JPEG images of his/her recent color photograph (10 to 200kB) and signature (4 to 30 kB).

• If any document e.g., certificate/marksheet etc. is to be uploaded, it must be in PDF format (50 to 300kB)

Payment of examination fees

• The JENPAS UG examination fees can be paid by Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card only.

• For only Paper-1 or only Paper-2, the application fee for the examination is Rs.500 (Rs.400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates), plus the Bank's service charges as applicable.

• For both Paper-1 and Paper-2, the application fee for the examination is Rs.1800 (Rs.1650 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates), plus the Bank's service charges as applicable.

Confirmation Page: On successful completion of all the above steps, candidates can download the ’Confirmation Page' which means that the application is complete.

JENPAS UG Application Correction Window

The JENPAS 2023 correction window is made available by WBJEEB on the official website. If any candidate intends to correct any other information in his/her JENPAS UG application form 2023, he/she can do so after logging in during the given correction period. Any request for any JENPAS UG 2023 correction will not be entertained by WBJEEB under any circumstances beyond the correction period.  

Application Fees

The JENPAS UG 2023 exam pattern includes crucial details of the exam such as mode, medium, number of papers, type of questions and mode. The same can be checked below.

• The test will consist of two papers namely, Paper-I and Paper-II.

• Paper-II is for admission in the BHA course only and Paper-I is for other courses.

• During application, a candidate can apply for only Paper-I or only Paper-II or for both.

JENPAS UG paper pattern

The JENPAS admit card 2023 will be released in online mode. Candidates must carry a printed hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre. In order to download the JENPAS UG 2023 admit card, aspirants can check the steps to download the JENPAS UG hall ticket below.

• Visit wbjeeb.nic.in and click on JENPAS UG 2023 tab.

• Upon reaching the JENPAS UG 2023 website, click on the link admit card link.

• Login by entering user ID and password

• The admit card of JENPAS UG 2023 will be displayed on the screen

• Verify all the details mentioned in JENPAS admit card

• Download and take a printout of the JENPAS UG hall ticket 2023

WBJEEB releases the JENPAS UG 2023 answer keys after the completion of the entrance exam on the official website. Candidates can log in and view the JENPAS 2023 answer keys.

The challenge facility of JENPAS answer keys 2023 will be made available. Candidates can challenge any answer key on payment of 1500 per question plus the bank's service charges. The fee once paid is not refundable. The Board will review the challenges and publish the final JENPAS 2023 answer keys.

The JENPAS UG result 2023 will be released by WBJEEB in the form of rank card. The JENPAS rank card 2023 comprises all relevant ranks and scores. Candidates can view and download their rank card by logging in with their passwords. 

If any candidate has any grievance about his/her score obtained, he/she may raise a query through email (to info@wbjeeb.in) within 24 hours of the declaration of the result attaching copies of the rank card, question booklet number and its series code, self-calculation of the question-wise and total score. 

WBJEEB releases a separate notification with details of JENPAS UG 2023 counselling/seat allotment and admission procedure. The JENPAS counselling process will be published in the Board's website soon after the publication of the result.

The course-wise and institute-wise availability of seats which will be provided by the competent authorities will also be published before counselling and allotment. All verifications of documents uploaded while filling out the application process will be done during counselling.
