About NEET MDS 2021
National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery - NEET MDS entrance exam. The authorities have released the result for NEET MDS 2021 along with the cutoff on December 31, 2020, in the form of a merit list which includes roll number, scores obtained (out of 960) and qualifying status of the candidates. NEET MDS cut off 2021 for general candidates is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th percentile. Based on the cutoff scores, NBE will now release 50% AIQ NEET MDS merit list 2021 including candidates eligible for AIQ counselling. Aspirants who have secured the minimum required percentile are now eligible to participate in NEET MDS 2021 counselling session for admission to 6,501 seats offered to 50% All India Quota seats, 50% state quota seats, deemed/central universities, ESIC, and private universities.
The counselling of NEET MDS 2021 for 50% AIQ, deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMC institutes will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET MDS 2021 counselling by MCC can be done in two rounds for AIQ seats, while for deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMC institutes, mop-up round will be conducted. While, the NEET MDS counselling 2021 for 85% state quota seats and private seats will be done by respective state counselling authorities. The state counselling authorities will conduct NEET MDS counselling in three rounds including mop-up round. The counselling process includes release of application form, publication of merit list and seat allotment process.
NBE conducted NEET MDS 2021 on December 16, 2020, and the admit card for the same was issued on December 9, 2020. NBE released the NEET MDS 2021 application form on October 26, 2020 at 05:00 PM on nbe.edu.in. Only the candidates who will fulfil NEET MDS eligibility criteria could fill the application form until November 15, 2020. NEET MDS 2021 brochure released on October 26 with two major changes in NEET MDS application fee and exam centres. As per the prospectus, the application fee of NEET MDS 2021 for general and OBC candidates was Rs. 4425, while for SC/ST/PWD it was Rs. 3245, including GST. Also, for NEET MDS 2021 session, as many as 27 NEET MDS centres were added. Through NEET MDS 2021, around 6,501 Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) will be offered under 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota seats, 100% seats in deemed/central universities and private colleges.
NEET MDS 2021 exam contained 240 multiple choice questions asked from BDS curriculum. Only three hours were allotted to complete NEET MDS exam, which is 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. As per the exam pattern of NEET MDS 2021, four marks were awarded for correct answer, while one mark were deducted for an incorrect response.

The NEET MDS 2021 eligibility criteria will be considered for admission to the Masters of Dental Surgery courses. These eligibility criteria are decided by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). The basic requirements to appear for NEET MDS can be checked below:-
· Candidates must hold BDS degree from a recognised institute to fulfil NEET MDS eligibility criteria 2021.
· Provisional/permanent registration with State Dental Council (SDC) or DCI by March 31, 2021.
· Completion of one-year compulsory rotatory internship by March 31 of the academic year that a candidate is seeking admission is mandatory.

NBE has released the NEET MDS 2021 application form on October 26, 2020, at 05:00 PM on nbe.edu.in. All the eligible candidates can register themselves for NEET MDS entrance exam. The last date for NEET MDS registration is November 15, 2020. It is important to fill NEET MDS application form 2021 to appear for postgraduate dental entrance exam. Only the successfully registered candidates will be allowed to download NEET MDS 2021 admit card.

The NEET MDS 2021 exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. National Board of Examination (NBE) had announced the exam date of NEET MDS 2021. The NEET MDS exam is a computer-based test which will be held on December 16, 2020. The exam comprised of 240 multiple choice questions which covered topics from Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Para-Clinical. The syllabus for NEET MDS will be considered from the BDS Course Regulations recommended by the DCI. As per the marking scheme of NEET MDS, candidates will score four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There is no marking for the questions which are not answered by the candidates. The linguistic medium of the NEET MDS exam 2020 will be only English.
NEET MDS admit card 2021 will be released for the registered candidates in the first week of December 2020. Candidates were required to submit their user ID and password to download the NEET MDS 2021 hall ticket. NEETMDS 2021 admit card can only be received in online mode, as the hall tickets are not be sent via any offline mode. After downloading the admit card, candidates must paste their photograph on the document as only then it will be considered by the authorities at the time of the exam. The admit card of NEET MDS 2021 carries information like roll number, allotted exam city and centre. Candidates must note that the NEET MDS admit card is also a mandatory document for the counselling process, therefore, it must be preserved even after the conduction of the exam.

The authorities have released the cutoff of NEET MDS 2021 along with the result on December 31, 2020. NEET MDS cutoff 2021 is the minimum qualifying percentile which must be secured by the candidates in order to secure the national-level entrance test. In case, to fill the remaining vacant seats in the dental colleges of the country, DCI in consultation with health ministry may lower down the cutoff percentile and marks to provide opportunity to other candidates.
Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline
DGHS on behalf of MCC is conducting the counselling of NEET MDS 2021 for admission process to 50% All India Quota seats, deemed/central university seats, ESIC and AFMC seats. Jammu and Kashmir do not participate in the central pool quota, therefore, the counselling for seats in government dental colleges is allotted by the state body responsible. The authority conducts two rounds of seat allotment for AIQ seats, while a mop-up round will be organised for deemed, central and ESIC colleges. In order to participate for NEET MDS 2021 counselling process, aspirants must secure equal to more than the minimum cutoff percentile. The qualifiers can participate for counselling process by registering themselves and providing their preferences of colleges as well as courses. Based on the choice filled, NEET MDS rank, seats availability in the particular college, reservation criteria and other factors, the admission to MDS course will be granted.
While the seat allotment process for 85% state quota and seats in private dental colleges will be conducted by state counselling body as selected by the state government. The respective regulatory bodies will either organise the counselling process in online or offline mode. NEET MDS admissions in the states includes application forms, merit list and seat allotment procedure. However, to apply for state MDS admissions, the qualified candidates must fulfil certain eligibility criteria of domicile, age, nationality and other aspects as laid down by the state counselling authorities.

As per the last year's statistics you stand a fair chances in getting clinical seats.As per the last years cutoff you can get clinical seats in second and third rounds.In last years the cutoff went about 7000-8000 in some good colleges.So yes there is a fair chance for getting a good clinical seats.
