The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam in 13 languages. The single national-level undergraduate medical entrance exam, NEET UG held every year for admission to 645 medical, 318 dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc and AH colleges in India.As per the latest update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam date for NEET UG 2024 at nta.ac.in. The undergraduate medical exam will be held for over 20 lakh aspirants on May 5. The NTA will release the NEET UG 2024 application form along with the information brochure. The information bulletin of NEET 2024 will mention details such as eligibility for the test, process, fees and more. Candidates will be required to fill out the NEET registration form 2024 before the last date to be announced by the NTA. Aspirants who fill out the application form on time will be issued NEET 2024 admit card, which will be required to appear for the test. The hard copy of the NEET 2024 hall tickets must be carried by the students at the exam centre. It must be noted that no candidate without the admit card and a valid ID proof will be allowed to enter the NEET 2024 exam centre. The NTA will conduct NEET UG 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM in pen and paper mode for admission to over 1 lakh MBBS, 27868 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH seats. As per the NEET 2024 exam pattern, the exam will include 200 questions, of which aspirants need to answer only 180. NTA NEET 2024 question paper included questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In the NEET 2024 exam, 4 marks will be given for every correct answer, one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and no marks will be given for any unanswered question.A few days after the test, the authority will release the NEET 2024 answer key along with the question paper. A challenge window will also be opened for the candidates who appeared in the test to challenge the answer key or question paper by paying a sum of Rs 200 for each challenged answer/question. The NEET 2024 result will be released in a scorecard form. Candidates will be able to download the NEET scorecard 2024 by entering their application number, date of birth and security pin. The last year NEET cutoff for the General category was 720-137, for SC/ST/OBC category, it was 136-107, for the General- PwD category 136-121, and for SC/ST/OBC-PwD category was 120-107. Those who will qualify for the test will be able to participate in the NEET 2024 counselling process which will be conducted by the Medical Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) Based on NEET scores 202, the counselling will be held for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 85% state quota, deemed/central universities, private colleges, AFMS/ESIC institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER campuses will be conducted.
