The National Eligibility Cum Entrance exam is the major exam for those who are willing to work in medical field. Each year many students appear in this exam and those who got successful in cracking NEET, have to choose the medical college through counselling. According to NEET Eligibility Criteria 2018, 15% of seats are reserved in all the public and private medical colleges for students from all over the India, whereas 85% seats are reserved for those who are domicile of the state in which the college is. But the students of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Ja mmu& Kashmir are not eligible for this because these states have opted the All India Scheme. The Candidates from these 3 states can appear in the exam to take admissions in the Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University and Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC).
Candidates from these states will have to submit online self-declaration. If the Online Self-declaration of such candidates found to be incorrect, they might get penalized for this.
