1. Understand the Exam Pattern & Syllabus

  • Subjects : Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany + Zoology)
  • Exam Mode : Offline (Pen & Paper)
  • Total Questions : 200 (180 to be attempted)
  • Marking Scheme : +4 for correct, -1 for wrong answer
  • Syllabus : Follow NCERT for Classes 11 & 12 as the primary source

2. Make a Study Plan

  • Daily Routine : Dedicate at least 6–8 hours daily
  • Divide Time :
    • Biology – 50% (as it carries the most weightage)
    • Chemistry – 25%
    • Physics – 25% (often the toughest for students)

  2. Domicile for State Quota : Your West Bengal domicile and caste certificate are valid for West Bengal’s 85% state quota seats, not Rajasthan’s.

  3. All India Quota (AIQ) : You are eligible for the 15% AIQ seats in any state, including Rajasthan.

  4. Rajasthan State Quota : You cannot claim Rajasthan’s state quota without its domicile.

As of now, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has not officially announced the revised date for NEET MDS 2025 . Initially scheduled for January 31, 2025, the exam has been postponed. Based on recent reports, the exam is expected to be conducted in June 2025.
