what can be the cutoff for neet 2020

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 18th Nov, 2019

You haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, the cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. The formula for calculating the cut off remains the same. It is 50 percentile of the top NEET score for General Category and 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. Last year the general cut offs increased by 15 marks. It might the same this year as well.

is ncert book enough in chemistry for neet..... if not then which book should mostly i prefer???

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 17th Nov, 2019
Chemistry is divided into Inorganic, Physical and Organic chemistry. For inorganic chemistry, you must refer to the NCERT. Organic comprises of many reactions and reagents which can be practised by writing over and over again. Physical chemistry requires a comparatively deeper understanding of concepts, so preparing with the NCERT and referring to study material a level higher than NCERT should be the way to go. any notification received for councelling registration against NEET 2020 from any medical college from Kerala or any other state in India ?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 17th Nov, 2019

First NTA will release an official schedule and then release the online application forms. After the completion of the exam and once the results have been declared, the respective States will release the State merit list and the counselling dates. Private Colleges will release their Cut offs so interested candidates can apply. Now at this juncture, it is too early for any State or College to release its registration process. Usually Colleges like CMC start the registration process from January/ February.

I failed in 12th board but next year I got 60 %... but my marksheet status show me as EX-Candidate. is Im eligible for neet 2020

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 17th Nov, 2019

Reza, based on your Category, you should secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. So, if you have secured this  aggregate, you are eligible for NEET though you cleared in in supplementary exams.

sir mere pcb me 45% haii aur overall sare sub. mila kr 55% haii....i m belongs to general category....kya may neet 2020 ka form bhar skti hu??

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 17th Nov, 2019

Mishu, for being eligible for NEET, your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are considered and not your 12th aggregate. Though secured 55% in your 12th, because the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is 45% and also because you belong to General Category, you are not eligible for appearing for NEET. 50% is the required aggregate for General Category students in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. You have to appear for improvement exams and improve your aggregate if you want to appear for NEET.
