No, you don't need high percentage in your 12th to be eligible for neet counselling.
You just need to be eligible for neet examination with percentage in pcb i. e you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /stcategory.
So,
So, if you meet this criteria then you are eligible for Neet and neet counselling too and after qualifying Neet examination you can get admission in Medical Colleges on the basis of rank or marks obtained by you in NEET
Your profile suggests that your domicile state is AP.
So, to give you example for eligibility for neet counselling, below is the eligibility criteria for AP neet counselling:-
* must be 10+2 or its equivalent passed with PCB i. e Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and English
* Percentage requirement in PCB for different categories:-
