The Court has agreed to hear CBSE’s plea on the matter.

Following the cancellation of AIPMT 2015 exam, the Supreme Court had on Monday, 15 June directed the CBSE to conduct a re-test of AIPMT within four weeks.

AIPMT was annulled considering the likely adverse impact on the exam and evaluation process due to 'answer key leak' during exam.

About 6.3 lakhs candidates are waiting for AIPMT 2015 re-test after the Supreme Court scrapped the exam over answer key leak allegations. According to officials, students will not be required to apply for the entrance test again but the CBSE is likely to issue fresh admit cards to all applicants.

CBSE had earlier pleaded before Supreme Court not to cancel AIPMT 2015 as it would affect the entire academic schedule for 2015 – 16. In fact, the exam authority had sought permission from the Court to issue the merit list of candidates.

AIPMT 2015 landed in controversy after the Haryana Police had busted a racket involving leak of AIPMT 2015 Answer Keys on May 3, 2015. The police has arrested four people who had allegedly passed on AIPMT 2015 answer keys to students using vests with SIM card units and Bluetooth enabled earpieces during the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT).

AIPMT is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam taken by as many as 6 lakh candidates for admission to approximately 3200 MBBS and 300 BDS seats under 15% All India Quota in Government medical and dental colleges of India excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir states.

I have passed my 12 th exam with compartment.....and there is no total marks shown in mark sheet but individual mark is shown......is there problem in NEET

Aditya kumar Student Expert 10th Dec, 2019
Hello there!

Greetings!

Actually your aggregate marks is not considered while checking your eligibility for neet examination . So , you don't need to worry if your total marks is not mentioned. If you have passed your class 12th compartment examination and have got at least 50 % aggregate in pcb if you belong to general category ; or 40% aggregate in pcb if you belong to obc/sc / st categories , or at least 45 % aggregate in pcb if you belong to pwd category,, then there's no problem you are eligible for neet 2020 examination.

Check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You need to get at least 50 % aggregate in pcb in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

  • There's no upper age limit for neet 2020.

  • There's no attempt limit for neet examination.

  • Students appearing for Class 12 th boards in 2020 are also eligible for neet 2020.

  • Recognized open boards like Nios etc, private students are also eligible for neet 2020.

How to get under 100 rank in neet ug 2020??is ncert sufficient for this?

apuroop sri durgesh 9th Dec, 2019

Hello Kumar, there is no provisional way to get some sort of specific rank in any kind of exam, all you can do is to target for the best by preparing. How much preparation goes into, the same output you get for it. The MCQ's in NEET are mostly based on NCERT theory, however by solving some mock tests and previous years papers, you can get an estimate of what is being asked, you can opt for books by checking the link https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/best-books-for-neet .

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

Khusji 9th Dec, 2019
Hello!!

Apply for your EWS certificate as soon as possible ,probably you would get it before the neet  counselling, it's good if you get your certificate before NEET counselling otherwise you will be treated as general category candidate during the counselling

Thank you!!
