ASSO CET 2014 Result Declared

The result of ASSO CET 2014 has been declared by Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUPMDC) on June 8, 2014. Candidate has to enter their ASSO CET 2014 Exam Roll Number to check their ASSO CET 2014 result.  According to officials, about 37, 000 candidates appeared for ASSO CET 2014 entrance exam, conducted in off-line mode on May 18, 2014.

Based on the AMUPMDC ASSO CET 2014 Cut Off, a merit list will be prepared for all the eligible and successful candidates according to their rank in ASSO CET 2014 result. MBBS and BDSseats in any of the 26 Medical Institutes will be allotted to candidates as per ASSO CET 2014 merit list.

Admissions to the Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra for the academic year 2014-15 will be done on the basis Preference Form. The ASSO CET 2014 Preference Form will be filledonline. The Preference filled by the Candidate will be centrally processed by computer on the basis of merit cum preference and list of selected candidates will be declared. Candidates selected should report to the allotted College/Course within the stipulated time.

ASSO CET is a national level examination conducted by the Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUPMDC), and is the pre requisite exam for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in private Medical and Dental colleges of Maharashtra. There are around 920 MBBS seats in 8 private medical college and 1540 seats in 18 private dental colleges of Maharashtra.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

is any minimum markes in mbbs criteria for neet pg 2020?

Greetings!

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.

How many attempts are allowed for NEET PG exams?

Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped. Until then, NEET PG will be the entrance exam for admission to MD/MS courses.
