BUMS 2020: Jamia Hamdard Professor awarded for drug research in Unani Medicine on Feb 12
Mohd. Aftab Ahmad, the Professor of School of Unani Medicinal Education and Research (SUMER), has been awarded by the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India on February 12, 2020, for his contribution in Unani Medicine an International Conference on Unani Medicine. The conference for World Unani Day was organized by the Central Council for Research (CCIR) in Unani Medicine on February 11 & 12, 2020, at New Delhi. The conference focused on a wide range of topics that would help in developing knowledge and understanding of the field of Unani medicine and its contribution to health and well-being.
About Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
Aspirants who wish to pursue a profession in the field of Unani medicine and surgery required to pursue BUMS. The course is regulated by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), which is a statutory body under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH). It is to be noted that to get admission under BUMS course, a candidate must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam which is scheduled to be conducted on May 2, 2020.
Eligibility Criteria for BUMS 2020

The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years to register for the National Entrance Examination
According to the apex court orders, candidates who are more than 25 years old can also register for NEET 2020 for admission to BUMS courses.
Aspirants are required to qualify class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
Students belonging to the general category must secure at least 50% in class 12, where the reserved category candidates must secure at least 40%
Aspirants also need to secure the minimum qualifying percentile, specified by the respective authority, i.e. NTA.

Hello student no there's no need to join seprate coaching center if you're focused in your class that'll be enough to learn the course of BCA Jamiya hamdard is a reputed institute the faculty are well experienced and educated so it's not advisable to join seprate coaching.
