CIDS Admission - The Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences (CIDS), Karnataka, is inviting aspirants to apply for its full-time four year Bachelors of Dental Sciences (BDS) course through NEET 2018. CIDS will offer admissions to a total of 40 BDS seats through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018. The counselling for admissions to CIDS Karnataka will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) from the month of June onwards. All candidates seeking admissions to the course will be required to appear for and qualify NEET scheduled to be held on May 6, 2018, and thereafter register for the KEA BDS counselling.

Eligibility Criteria for BDS at CIDS, Coorg
Candidate must have completed at least 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2018.
Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% in Class 12.
Candidate must have passed Karnataka PUC or Class 12 examination or an equivalent in CBSE, ICSE or State boards with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects.
Candidate must have obtained atleast 50% (40% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in aggregate in Karnataka PUC or Class 12 or equivalent examination.
Candidate must also score atleast 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC category and 45th percentile for General-PH) in NEET 2018.
Selection Process for BDS at CIDS, Coorg
Candidates will need to appear for NEET 2018 in order to get admission in BDS course at CIDS. Besides that, they will need to qualify the exam with required qualification percentile.
After qualifying NEET 2018, interested and eligible candidates will need to register with KEA for participating in the counselling process. The admissions to BDS course at CIDS will be done on the basis of NEET 2018 scores and counselling conducted by KEA.
For completing BDS admission process, candidate will be required to report to CIDS, Coorg, with required documentations and KEA admission allotment letter.
