The examination dates for EAMCET Medical  and COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 are clashing. The examination of the two major undergraduate medical entranceshas been scheduled on the same date i.eMay 10, 2015.

The clash of dates of the two entrances has left several medical aspirants in dilemma.

“Leaving anyone of the exams can lower the chances getting enrolled into an MBBS programmes,”says RaghvendraChandilaa medical aspirant from Bangalore. “Getting into medical programmes is very tough in India as the ratio of seats with respect to test takers are less. This will certainly hamper the opportunity of medical aspirants this year,” he added.

Both the exams are considered important by medical aspirants and draw around a lakh candidates annually.

According to a COMEDK official, as many as 96,100 candidates had taken the test across the statein 2014. Of the total number of candidates, 45,235 appeared for medical (PCB – Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 12,570 for medical as well as engineering (PCMB).

According to EAMCET officials, a total of 1, 12,851 candidates appeared for medical and agriculture stream in 2014.

Another medical aspirant from Delhi, NaliniAiyer says, “I am already under pressure of medical exams and this news will hamper prospects this year. But I don’t want to miss either of the exams. I am just hoping that the date for one of the exam is changed.”

COMEDK had issued the exam notification on October 28, 2014 much earlier than the announcement of EAMCET Medical 2015, which has been announced in the third week of January, 2015.

We bring you the screen-shots of notification as provided by the respective examination bodies on the said date –

im a ward of Central Govt staff trasfered to Kerala, I studied X and X11 in Andhra and my parents are native of Tamilnadu , can I apply for NEET councelling on 85% state quota on all the three state

Manisha 22nd Feb, 2020

Hello medical aspirant

MCC will commence NEET counselling and seat allotment for MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota from June 19, 2020.

However state level counselling for 85% seats will be organized separately by the respective state authorities . Candidates appearing for NEET 2020 and clearing NEET cut off required by the RESPECTIVE COLLEGES can apply for admission in that college through counselling.

It means you can apply only for state counselling  of state from which you will appear for NEET 2020 and you will have to score marks equivalent to cut off  of  that college

how much do i need to score in neet ug to get any govt. medical college all over in india? i am from obc category and i have domicile of delhi state

Srijika Bhattacharyya 22nd Feb, 2020
Hello,
Based on previous year's cutoff people with 530-540 were also worried about getting a college. So it is better to get atleast 570 to be sure to get a seat and above 600 to get a good seat.
Hope this helps.
