JIPMER MBBS 2016 result to be declared on June 17

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has postponed the announcement of JIPMER MBBS 2016 result. According to an official notification by JIPMER, the result of JIPMER MBBS 2016 will be declared on June 17, 2016.

JIPMER MBBS result 2016 will be declared in the form of merit list. It will have the candidate’s detail like their name, exam roll number, total score, percentile, marks obtained in Biology, Physics, Logic & Quantitative Reasoning and English and Comprehension.


The percentile based result would be determined on the basis of the average marks obtained by the first top ten candidates. Candidates who secure less than the minimum percentile would not be considered for admissions and their names wouldn’t be included in the merit list.


JIPMER MBBS 2016 entrance exam was conducted in computer based mode on June 5, 2016 in around 75 cities across India. Most of the candidates who took the exam said that the questions from Physics and Chemistry subjects were tough as compared to those in Biology, Logic & Quantitative Reasoning and English Comprehension.


JIPMER MBBS 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to 200 MBBS seats.

Fee structure of MBBS programme varies college to college.

Government college has less fee structure in comparison to private colleges.
