Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala has declared KEAM Medical 2016 result on June 1. The result has been declared only for those candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the KEAM Medical 2016 entrance exam which was conducted in pen and paper based mode on April 27 and 28.The result of KEAM Medical 2016 will be basis for counselling to provide admission to approximately 2900 MBBS and BDS seats in Government, Government Controlled Self Financing and Private self-financing medical and dental colleges of Kerala.

The examination authority will prepare merit list of all the qualified candidates based on their marks scored as per their respective category. KEAM Medical 2016 cut off score is a predetermined minimal score required for admission in medical and dental colleges of Kerala. According to officials, to qualify the entrance exam candidates have to score a total of 50% taken together in both the paper of Paper I & II.
Candidates belonging to SEBC will be considered for admission to MBBS/BDS courses only if they have scored a minimum of 40%. Candidates with Locomotory disability of lower limbs (between 40% to 70%) will be considered for admission to MBBS course only if they have scored a minimum of 45% marks in KEAM Medical 2016.
