Punjab PMET 2016 to be held in online mode on May 15
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) will conduct Punjab PMET 2016 in the computer based mode on May 15, 2016. The online entrance exam will be conducted for admission to approximately 800 MBBS seats in 8 Medical and 1200 BDS seats in 11 dental colleges of Punjab.
The step has been taken by the examination authority to ensure minimum hassles to candidates unlike last year. Nearly, thousands of candidates could not appear in the entrance test last year. While many candidates could not reach the centre on time due to traffic mess, the authority was blamed for fixing just one exam centre for nearly 15000 students, thereby , creating a commotion.
This year, too, approximately, 15,000 candidates will appear in Punjab PMET 2016 for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes offered in medical and dental colleges in Punjab. In a shift from last year’s process, the online test will be conducted at multiple examination centres across the state and candidates can appear in the centre of their choice.
The exam will be conducted for 3 hours and the online question booklet will have 200 multiple choice questions based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority. As per the Punjab PMET 2016 exam pattern, question booklet will have 50 multiple choice questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology subjects.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
I did my 12th from PCM and passed from Cbse and now i want to appear again for 12th and include bio .Can l give it from regional board as private candidate? Is it legal? Am I elgibile to write NEET after that ?
Your question is very conflicting as you are yourself stating that you have already passed your class XII from CBSE and yet you want Biology to be your additional subject that too from CBSE, but that's not possible as you have already completed class XII and there is no place for you to choose Biology as optional as you didn't have the same in class XII and domain change in terms of Biology stream is not possible if one has completed class XII already.
Now you can go for NIOS and you can opt for ODES, On demand examination. This mode allows you to appear for senior secondary examination after passing your 12th to upgrade your knowledge.
However you won't be provided the transfer cum migration certificate. You'll be given the marksheet only.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

after 12th pcm biology as a single subject from nios am i eligible for neet exam
Hi
Neet 2021 eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible you must should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology and English as core subjects and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category or at least 45 % aggregate in PCB in case of PH candidate.
Also, students with Biology as an additional /optional subject are provisionally eligible for Neet examination until the supreme court give its judgement over the eligibility of students with Biology as an additional subject.
But ,
it is unsure that you will be eligible by just passing your Biology later on after 12th from a different board i. e NIOS because as per eligibility criteria students who have passed their 12th board examination with biology as additional subject are eligible and additional subject is nothing but the 6th i. e the optional subject in your 12th board examination.
For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

So, if you want to be eligible for Neet , I would suggest you to give NIOS on demand examination for 12th with all the 5 subjects including physics ,chemistry biology and English and for the 5th subject you can choose any subject of your choice like Hindi ,Sanskrit, maths or any other subject and after passing, if you fulfill the aforesaid percentage requirement in PCB i. e 50 % for general or at least 40 % for obc/sc/st or at least 45 % for ph then you will be eligible for neet and can get admission in MBBS on basis of marks obtained by you in the Neet examination .
And if you are appear for 12th NIOS examination with all the five subject you should choose the code 0 1 because it is for those who are either appearing for 12th examination with subjects including physics ,chemistry, biology, English or have appeared for 12th examination but result is awaited.
