After the alleged incidence of TS EAMCET-II paper leakage, the controversy surrounding the state level medical entrance exam doesn’t seem to end with the Crime Investigation Department (CID) claiming to have arrested 3 people, who are said to be involved in TS EAMCET-II question paper leakage. The police team has also submitted the status report on investigation in connection with TS EAMCET-II question paper leakage.According to The New Indian Express, a national daily, the police has arrested three people including Sanikam Rajagopal Reddy, who runs “Resonance Medical Academy” at Dilshuknagar and L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad in connection with the paper leakage.
As per the newspaper, the accused had sent four students of their academy to Pune Camp for practicing the leaked TS EAMCET-II question paper through a person called Shaik Ramesh. The accused have also taken Rs. 35 lakh from the three students.
However, there has not been any official confirmation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, which is the exam conducting authority for the state level entrance exam, pertaining to any such paper leakage in TS EAMCET-II.
Earlier, following some media reports about question paper leakage ahead of the examination, the JNTU officials had requested the Telanagana DGP Anurag Sharma to look into the issue, asked CID for a preliminary inquiry. While investigating , the CID had earlier stated that Telangana EAMCET-II question paper was leaked from a Delhi based printing press.
TS EAMCET-II was conducted on July 9 and the result was declared on July 14, 2016 for providing admissions to approximate 650 MBBS and BDS seats in Telangana.
