West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced WBJEEM 2015 for admissions to undergraduate medical programmesWBJEEB shall be conducting WBJEEM 2015 on April 18 and 19, 2015.

As per the new official notification made by WBJEEB, the Biological Sciences Paper will be of 150 marks, whereas other two papers, Physics and Chemistry of 50 marks each will be combined to one evaluating it to a total of 100 marks.

WBJEEM 2015 Question Papers shall be MCQ (Multiple-Choice Questions) type, comprising three categories as follows –

Category 1

  • Only one correct option, yielding one mark
  • For every incorrect response,25% of total marks (1/4) shall be deducted as per Negative Marking system
  • Questions responded with more than one option, will be treated as wrong answer and negative  marking shall be applicable to the very question

Category 2

  • Only one correct option, yielding two marks
  • For every incorrect response, 25% of total marks (1/2) shall be deducted as per Negative Marking system
  • Questions responded with more than one option, will be treated as wrong answer and negative  marking shall be applicable to the very question

Category 3

  • More than one option may be correct
  • Responding questions with all correct option will yield two marks
  • For any combination of responses comprising one or more oncorrect option, zero (0) mark shall be awarded
  • For any correct response without any incorrect marking, marks will be awarded following the formula – 2 x (Number of Correct Responses)/ (Total Number of Correct Options)

can I give neet exam after 12th class

Hello Aspirant,

Yes you can give NEET after 12th exam and the eligibility criteria to sit for the NEET exam is class 12 only so you are good to go. First go through the syllabus and try to complete the portion which is in your class 12 so that you will left with only class 11 for revision and deep learning.

WithTamil Nadustudents faring well in NEET, thecutofffor MBBS courses atgovernmentmedicalcollegesmight increase by more than 25 marks this year. Last year, thecut-off for governmentmedicalcollegesin OC category was 424. For BC and BCM it was 369 and 343.

There is no upper age limit till the Supreme Court passes its judgement on it. If no barrier occurs by Supreme Court then you can surely give the exam
