AIIMS PG 2016 result declared on November 6
The result of AIIMS PG 2016 for January session has been declared on November 6. Candidates who have appeared in AIIMS PG 2016 January session exam on November 1 can check their result from this page. AIIMS PG is national level entrance exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi) for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences. The entrance exam is conducted twice in a year, one for January and other for July session.
The AIIMS PG 2016 result for January session has been declared only for those candidates who have scored qualifying marks i.e. 50 percentile irrespective of candidate’s category. The exam was conducted on November 1 in computer based mode for admission to as many as 150 programmes in Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences. The online question booklet had 200 objective based multiple choice questions from topics taught during MBBS course.
The counselling for allotment of MD and MS seats will be done through counselling. The AIIMS PG 2016 counselling for January session will be conducted in three rounds including open selection. The counselling of first round of AIIMS PG 2016 January session will begin from December 10 followed by second round on December 18 and open selection on January 27, 2016. The allotment of MD/MS seats will be done strictly on the basis of candidate’s rank in the merit list. In each category the number of candidates called for counselling will be 8 times the number of total seats.

in AIIMS PG results, what is the cut rank above which the reserved category candidates are considered in UR??
The cut off rank for MD/MS for AIIMS PG July session 2020 for general category is 2190 and the percentile cut off is 91.649. The cut off rank for MDS for AIIMS PG July session 2020 for general category is 120 and the precentile cut off is 94.544. So you need to score the cut off marks that is specified for general category which is mentioned above.
Can a BSc degree holder appear for AIIMS entrance test ?

in aiims pg form mistakenly fill general but Im Obc student any chance of change after result.. my gen rank 4147 but Obc rank may bhi approx 1026
There is no chance to change it now. for this reason, it is advised to fill the form carefully and verify it multiple times before submitting.
You can go through the counselling process for general category. You have good rank and can get good medical college campus.
if you don't find option suitable in counselling process then You can try next year with more preparation and correctly filling the form.

Obviously it depends on which state you are from but in mist of the states the OBC rank for OG comes down to 700.So with a rank of 1000+ you might have the chance to get through in the mop up round.
hi i got 1400 rank in aiims pg 2020 mid year ..can i get clinical branch in any round of counselling?
Yes,if you are looking for a clinical branch like Anasthesiology or Orthopaedics or Opthalmology you will definitely get a seat in peripheral AIIMS during the second or third round counselling.
