AIIMS PG 2020 prospectus July session released with five major changes
New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the official prospectus for AIIMS PG July session on March 20, 2020. The authority also started the final registration which is available till April 4, 2020, only for the candidates who have completed the basic registration. The brochure of the AIIMS PG July session is released with a lot of latest and major changes compared to previous sessions. Major Changes in AIIMS PG 2020 July session
With the release of the AIIMS PG 2020 official prospectus, the changes that have been introduced are as follows.
Increment in the seats- This year, the total number of seats in AIIMS institutes has been increased to 643 for Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Chirurgiae (MCh) seats, which was earlier 548.
New AIIMS institute added- As per the official brochure, AIIMS, Nagpur has been added as a new institute with 8 seats in MD/MS courses.
Exam cities excluded- The number of exam cities has been decreased. AIIMS PG July session will now be held in a total of 56 cities, while earlier it was conducted in 68 cities all over India. Also, a total of 14 cities have been added, on the other hand, a number of 23 cities have been removed. All the cities are mentioned in the table below.
Newly added cities
Addition of EWS category- As the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) has been added this year, the fee for such candidates is Rs 1200, which can be paid online using credit/debit card or net banking.
Counseling registration fee- The authority will charge the AIIMS PG counseling registration fee of Rs. 500 from every eligible aspirant, which should be paid in online modes. This is happening for the first time.
What's Next in AIIMS PG 2020?
After the completion of the final registration, the next major event in the entrance exam is the release of the AIIMS PG admit card 2020. As per the official brochure, the admit card is set to be released on April 24, 2020. AIIMS PG 2020 is going to held on May 3, 2020, for admission to 643 MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh seats offered in eight AIIMS institutes located in Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh and Nagpur.

Eligibility for appearing in aiims pg nov 2020?
The eligibility criteria for AIIMS PG for MD/MS/DM/M.ch are:
1. Candidate must have a MBBS degree from a university recognised by medical council of India.
2. Candidate must have completed 12 months of compulsory internship or practical training.
3. Candidate should have a permanent or provisional registration of MCI.
There is no age limit for the candidates.
There are no fixed number of attempts for the examination.
Min. Required marks:
Candidate from general/obs/economically weaker need to qualify atleast 55% marks.
For sc or st the minimum score is 50%.
For pwd candidate belonging to general or obc, 55% marks are needed to apply for AIIMS PG.
For pwd candidate belonging to sc or st category, 50% aggregate are needed.

in AIIMS PG results, what is the cut rank above which the reserved category candidates are considered in UR??
The cut off rank for MD/MS for AIIMS PG July session 2020 for general category is 2190 and the percentile cut off is 91.649. The cut off rank for MDS for AIIMS PG July session 2020 for general category is 120 and the precentile cut off is 94.544. So you need to score the cut off marks that is specified for general category which is mentioned above.
Can a BSc degree holder appear for AIIMS entrance test ?

in aiims pg form mistakenly fill general but Im Obc student any chance of change after result.. my gen rank 4147 but Obc rank may bhi approx 1026
There is no chance to change it now. for this reason, it is advised to fill the form carefully and verify it multiple times before submitting.
You can go through the counselling process for general category. You have good rank and can get good medical college campus.
if you don't find option suitable in counselling process then You can try next year with more preparation and correctly filling the form.
