While last year, there were as many as 5.5 candidates eligible for a PG seat under all India 50 per cent quota seats, this year the number of candidates per seat has slightly come down to 5, making it a little easier for AIPGMEE applicants to get a PG seats under All India 50 quota. This, despite, more candidates clearing the cut-off for all India quota seats as compared to last year.

hi i am a NEET PG aspirant just finished my MBBS from Private medical college I want General Surgery would I be able to get it? how much do i hv to score for General Surgery from a good Govt. college

Pushpa 25th Feb, 2020

To be able to to secure a seat in top colleges the neet PG score should be more than 450 marks  (for general category) varies  on basis of reservation.

Getting marks above 500 ,you will have a great chance to get into the college you need and you will be on safe side  if you score 550 and above

As the cutoff  rank in the year 2019 is 8222 for Ms General surgery.

Yearly the competition keeps on increasing,so the higher your score the more your chance to get a good

The score depends on the years competition, difficulty of the paper.

These following link may be of help,

Hoping,this helped you.

All the best.

Do tamil nadu have any seats for ex servicemen through neet pg

Saisrinandan Ch 25th Feb, 2020

There is no reservation for ex servicemen under AIQ. But some states offer reservations in the 85% quota allotted to states.

Note: Defense quota is not available in all states and also the percentage of reservation is not same in each state.

Tamilnadu does not have defense quota.

Further clarifications can be sought from state counselling authorities.

Hope this helps.
