The admit card of JIPMER PG 2016 is available from November 4. Candidates can download their JIPMER PG 2016 admit card from the given link by entering their exam user id and password. The admit card has the candidate’s detail like their name, roll number, photo, signature, name and address of exam centre, examination guidelines etc. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates contact the help desk of for immediate rectification.JIPMER PG 2016 is national level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry for admission to 106 seats in Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences. Among the 106 seats, 96 are for Indian students and 10 for Sponsored/Foreign candidates.
The JIPMER PG 2016 exam is scheduled to be conducted in computer based mode on November 22. As per the JIPMER PG 2016 exam pattern, the online question booklet will have 250 Objective based multiple choice questions from Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical subjects taught during MBBS course. Candidates will score 4 marks for each correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
General category candidates have to score 50 percentile to qualify the exam while Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes including OPH, have to score 40 percentile. The result of JIPMER PG is scheduled to be declared on November 27, 2016.
