The result of JIPMER PG 2016 Result has been declared on November 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Candidates who have appeared in JIPMER PG 2016 entrance exam held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 can check below for result cum merit list on this page. JIPMER PG 2016 is a national level entrance exam for providing admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various Clinical and Basic Clinical programmes. The entrance exam is conducted twice a year, one for January session and other for July session.

The result cum merit list has been drawn category wise based on minimum percentile scored by the candidates. Candidates belonging to unreserved (UR)/Institute (INST)/ Foreign Nationals (FN) Sponsored/Deputed (SD) categories have to score a minimum of 50% percentile, whereas candidates belonging to Orthopaedic Physically and OBC/SC/ST (including OPH) have to obtain a minimum of 45% and 40% percentile respectively in order to become eligible for admissions  post graduate programmes in JIPMER.

The counselling of JIPMER PG 2016 will be conducted in three rounds including the open selection round. The candidates will be called in batches for counselling as per the Reservation Roster Point. Adequate number of Candidates will be called from eligible candidates from all the categories so that Roster Point is not blocked for lack of attendance. Counseling will be done according to the category rank (UR / INST / OBC / SC / ST / OPH) and not by the overall rank as per the Roster Point allocation method.

 

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) conducted JIPMER PG 2016 for a total of 106 seats out of which 96 are Indian and 10 for Sponsored/Foreign candidates.

Yes, Transfer and migration certificates (from last university attendance) are mandatory for JIPMER PG Counselling. As per the rules:-

•Candidates will be permitted to attend the counseling only after the verification  of biometrics, photo and certificates.

As per the JIPMER PG entrance is concerned, you can go thoroughly the NCERT books and the subjects to given importance are anatomy, biochemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, physiology, forensic medicine, pathology , microbiology for basic clinical science. It is going to be a 1000 mark exam with 250 questions and time duration is 3 hours. There will be two topics that is basic clinical science from which there will be 150 questions comprising 600 marks and clinical science having 100 questions making it 400 marks . Solve previous years questions to have a keen knowledge about the question pattern. It will give you confidence to appear the real test without much difficulty.

sir, does number of mbbs passing attempts count in jipmer pg, and in my case i was not given my 3rd year exam because of attendance shortage does that comes under deported, i have 60 percentage of mbbs as aggregate am i qualified for writing jipmer pg exam sir .

Medical aspirants have to fulfill the required JIPMER PG 2020 eligibility criteria if they plan to appear for the January session of MD/MS and MDS courses. Eligibility criteria of JIPMER PG details nationality, qualifying exam, internship, work experience, minimum qualifying marks etc. Candidates who meet the prescribed JIPMER PG eligibility criteria 2020 can fill the application form from September 18.
