NBE extends AIPGMEE 2015 till October 18

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has notified extension of AIPGMEE 2015 application date. AIPGMEE 2015 Application date has been extended till October 18, 2014 by the examination authority.  The last date of applying was October 10, 2014 but it has been extended for one more week, as per the latest notification from NBE.

Applicants who wish to apply for AIPGMEE 2015 MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate as per the criteria of Indian Medical Council Act and must have completed one year of internship or likely to complete on or before March 31, 2015.


Candidates who wish to appear for AIPGMEE 2015 need to apply in online mode till October 18, 2014. It must be noted that offline applications or printed copies will not be accepted. AIPGMEE 2015 registration fee is Rs. 2750 for SC/ST/PWD/ PH candidates and Rs. 3750 for General/OBC. The application fee can be remitted through payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card or Internet banking.

NBE has been authorized by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conductAIPGMEE 2015. Admission to 50% All India quota seats of MD/MS/Diploma, in various Government medical colleges of India except PG Medical Colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir will be done through AIPGMEE 2015 score. Also, 11 states of India will participate in AIPGMEE 2015 for admission against MD/MS/Diploma in their respective Government Medical Colleges. In AIPGMEE 2014, a total of 70,073 appeared and 30,495 candidates qualified to participate in online counseling for approx 6000 seats.

AIPGMEE 2015 exam will be conducted from December 1 to 6, 2014 at 33 centres across India. The exam will be a computer based test of 03 hours and 30 minutes duration as per the syllabus prescribed by Graduate Medical Education Regulations. The booklet of AIPGMEE 2015 examwill have 300 multiple choice questions from subjects taught during the MBBS course including pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

is any minimum markes in mbbs criteria for neet pg 2020?

Greetings!

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.

How many attempts are allowed for NEET PG exams?

Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped. Until then, NEET PG will be the entrance exam for admission to MD/MS courses.
