NBE extends NEET PG, FMGE, NEET MDS application deadline till November 7
National Board of Examinations (NBE) has extended the application deadline by seven days for three of its examination, NEET PG 2017, FMGE 2016 December session and NEET MDS 2017. The last date to register for the national level entrance exam and screening test is November 7, 2016.

The notification released by NBE does not cite the reasons for extension of application deadline. Earlier, the last date for submitting the application forms for the three national level tests was October 31, 2016. Besides, the application deadline, there has been no changes in other test dates.
The application forms of NEET PG 2017, NEET MDS 2017 and FMGE 2016 December session is a multi-stage process which consists of registration, filling up of personal details, qualification, choice of examination centre and fee payment etc.

The cost of application forms for NEET PG and NEET MDS for General and OBC candidates is Rs.3750 and Rs.2750 for SC.ST/PWD/PH candidates. Further, the application fee amount of FMGE for all category candidates is Rs.5500.
NEET PG 2017 is scheduled to be conducted from December 5 to 13, while NEET MDS will be conducted from November 30 to December 3, 2016. FMGE will be held on December 14, 2016.
NEET PG and NEET MDS, has replaced the tests AIPGMEE and DNB CET, and AIPGDEE respectively. The tests are conducted for admissions to various MD/MS/PG diploma and Dental PG courses offered by various medical colleges across the country, while, FMGE is a screening test for Indian nationals with foreign medical qualifications.

Re - Percentage Scored in Qualifying Exam. I graduated from a medical college. Theres no CGPA and for NEET PG we usually enter percentages for all years separately. For SSC-CGL, does it refer only to final year or the average of 4 years?
The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL 2020 for Junior Statistical Officer post is that a candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% Marks in Mathematics in 10+2 level or must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects. For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer and all other post a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized board.
So there is no minimum percentage required in qualifying exam to be eligible to appear for SSC CGL but in the application form you have to enter the education details, you have to enter the aggregate percentage that you have scored in all semesters/years in the qualifying exam.

If a student belongs to obc category then his/her category should be mentioned in the central list of obc caste. And since you friend belongs to general caste according to the central list therefore she has to apply as a general candidate and not as an obc candidate.
