NEET PG Result 2017 declared on January 13National Board of Examinations (NBE) has declared NEET PG Results 2017 on January 13. However, the result for 15% All India Quota seats will be declared on January 15, 2017. Candidates who had appeared in the computer based National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MD/MS and PG diploma admissions can now check their result from the official link available in this page. Candidates must note that NEET PG result 2017 will declare separate merit lists for 50% All India quota, 50% category quota and state quota/private medical colleges/deemed universities/AFMS rank. In order to become eligible for admissions in PG medical seats in 2017 academic session, a candidate belonging to General category have to secure a minimum of 50 percentile. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the qualifying percentile is 40.

How to check NEET PG 2017 Result

 

Candidates can check their NEET PG 2017 result by entering their exam testing ID and date of birth from the online window given below. NEET PG 2017 result mentions the candidates’ name, testing id, All India Rank (AIR), marks scored and whether they have qualified or not.

 

Based on the NEET PG 2017 result, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct NEET PG 2017 counselling in online mode beginning from February. NEET PG 2017 counselling will be conducted in two rounds and allotment of MD/MS/Diploma programmes seats to be done strictly on the basis candidate’s all India rank and a preference for pg medical programme.

 

NEET PG 2017 exam had been concluded on December 13, 2016 which was conducted in an eight-day testing window which began from December 5. According to experts and toppers, the national level post graduate entrance examination is one of most competitive and toughest examinations of India as it had questions, which not only evaluated theoretical or practical knowledge of MBBS programme but also analysed conceptual knowledge of Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical subjects.
