Punjab NEET PG Admission 2024 - Counselling, Choice Filling & Seat Allotment

The Baba Faridkot University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) conducts Punjab NEET PG 2024 counselling for granting admission in the state. A link to download the Punjab NEET PG 2024 application form will be provided here.
Through Punjab NEET PG 2024 counselling will fill almost 719 MD/MS and 109 MDS seats under the 50% state quota, while the remaining 50% of seats will be reserved for the All India Quota. According to NEET PG 2024 scores entered into the application form, Punjab PG medical merit list 2024 will be prepared. The Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 will be conducted on the grounds of the rank included in the merit list.

Punjab NEET PG 2024 Admission: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, each candidate must carefully review the Punjab PG medical eligibility requirements. The following list includes the fundamental requirements for Punjab state NEET PG counselling 2024.
Aspirants must have completed an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college/institute of India and also possess an MBBS pass certificate.
Aspirants should obtain a 12-month rotatory internship completion certificate issued on or before March 31, 2024.
Candidates must provide the permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
Aspirants must know it is mandatory to secure the minimum NEET PG 2024 cutoff. The cutoff percentile is mentioned in the table below.

Punjab NEET PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria - In-service candidates
Candidate should be a regular PCMS/PCMSW (Dental) employee
An aspirant must have completed four years of service in a very difficult area (Category 1) or 6 full services in a difficult area or an appropriate combination of both.
In case, a candidate has completed five years of service, then they should have completed it in the most difficult area or three full services in the difficult areas.
The period of rural service shall be computed as on March 31, 2024.
Punjab NEET PG Application Form 2024
The Punjab PG medical 2024 application will be made available online by BFUHS. For 50% of state quota seats and private colleges, only applicants who submit a Punjab NEET PG application form will be considered. Only those NEET PG qualifying candidates with state domicile can access the Punjab NEET PG application form for 2024. Candidates must pay the application fee to submit their application completely. The category-wise Punjab PG medical application form fee is mentioned below.

Punjab NEET PG Merit List 2024
The authority will prepare and publish the Punjab NEET PG merit list 2024 online based on the applicants' NEET PG scores and the information provided in the application. When the merit list is made public, a link will be posted on this page. Each category's merit list for the Punjab NEET PG 2024 will be released separately. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be qualified to participate in the counselling process. The Punjab NEET PG merit list will also include the candidate's All India Rank, state rank, percentage, and names.
Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024
Authorities will conduct the Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 online in two rounds and a mop-up round. Aspirants are required to provide the names of the colleges and the courses they are interested in during the Punjab NEET PG 2024 counselling. Preferences, state merit rank, and the availability of seats will determine admission to MD/MS programmes. Aspirants who receive seats must report to the allotted college to verify and finish the admissions process.
At the time of the Punjab NEET PG counselling, applicants who will be admitted to any college through All India counselling must present original certificates or letters of consent from the chosen college. The University will at any time revoke the applicant's admission if it is determined that they do not meet the requirements of the University or the notifications issued by the Punjab Government.
The candidate will be required to pay the tuition fee at the Punjab NEET PG counselling venue in the form of a demand draft made payable to the Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, payable at Faridkot. If any candidate fails to do so, his/her provisional selection will be treated as cancelled without any intimation to the candidate.

There will be no problem as such . You should not worry about it now, let it be for now .
After your neet results when will get admission a call for counseling you must take your class x mark sheet along with you to ahow the college authorities where yoh will get admission.
You may carry your mother's ID proof to show the official persons but it is not a great issue , don't think much of it.

Hope you are doing well! It is mandatory to have ews certificate at the time of counseling or at the time of admission in the college which you will take . They will listen your problems or excuses whatever , they just need ews certificate anyhow ,so it is better for you to select your category as general if you don't have ews certificate available right now to avoid any problem in the future .

Hello aspirant.
If you have gazzette with your changed name then you should not worry at all.
When a person changes his name, he has to get a gazzette certificate to verify . Due to this certificate the person's name is changed in government citizen list officially.
You may apply for neet pg with your new name
You will have to upload gazette certificate too.
Make sure your aadhar card , pan card shows your changed name .
Gazette certificate is the provision for citizens who change their caste or name Due to any reason.

Your child is 12th Science group, so he must be attempting the exam NEET UG. The PG will be given after the graduation and for the masters. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG) is administered offline by the National Testing Agency (NTA). There is only one NEET UG exam every year. For admission to 645 medical, 318 dentistry, 914 AYUSH, 47 BVSc, and AH colleges in India, a single national-level undergraduate medical entrance test called NEET UG will be conducted.
