NEET PG Result 2020 - NBE will release NEET PG result 2020 in the last week of January for medical graduates. Candidates can check their result of NEET PG online by following the steps given below. The authorities will release two types of NEET PG merit list 2020 in PDF format as mentioned below. NBE will conduct NEET PG 2020 on January 5 for admission of medical graduates into post graduate courses in the country. Last year 1,43,148 candidates appeared for the examination of NEET PG out of which 79633 qualified in the same. NEET PG 2020 Result - Merit lists

The authorities will release two different types of merit lists of NEET PG as mentioned below:

1. Overall merit list - NBE releases an overall merit list of NEET PG which is used by various state/union territories’ medical councils to prepare their own merit list for counselling. The overall merit list includes All India Ranks (AIR) of candidates

2. All India Quota (AIQ) merit list - NBE will also release a separate merit list for candidates who have qualified for AIQ 50% seats. The AIQ merit list of of NEET PG 2020 will include the AIR of candidates along with the category-specific rank

How to download NEET PG scorecard 2020?

To download the scorecard of NEET PG candidates are required to follow the steps given below

  1. Click on the link provided above

  2. Candidates have to then enter their NEET PG login credentials, which is the user ID and password

  3. The screen will display the scorecard of NEET PG 2020. Candidates have to verify the details mentioned on it and download it for further reference

2. The result will be displayed on the screen in the form of a PDF file

3. With the use of Ctrl+F candidates can find their roll number on the PDF

4. Having found their roll number candidates are advised to verify the details given on NEET PG result

NEET PG Result 2020 - Qualifying percentile

The qualifying percentile of NEET PG 2020 result is the percentile at which candidates are given ranks in the merit list. NBE will release the category-wise qualifying percentile for the result of NEET PG along with the release of information brochure of the same. Candidates will have to secure minimum qualifying percentile and corresponding marks to the percentile will be considered for admissions to the courses. NBE will disclose the qualifying marks with declaration of the result, and this will be different for each category. Candidates can check the table below for previous years qualifying percentile and corresponding marks.

NEET PG 2020 Result - Types of ranks

Medical graduates will see that their NEET PG result, as released by NBE, will reflect different types of ranks. These rank types are described in the points below.

1. All India Rank (AIR) NEET PG 2020 - Candidate’s overall merit position, that is, the overall rank secured by him/her among all the other examinees is known as the the AIR of NEET PG 2020

2. All India 50% Quota (AIQ) Rank - Candidates who have opted for AIQ 50% seats will get AIQ rank that they have secured among all other similar candidates. The aforementioned rank will be considered while granting admission to AIQ 50% seats to candidates after release of NEET PG result 2020

3. All India 50% Quota (AIQ) Category Rank - Medical graduates who opted for AIQ 50% seats will also receive AIQ category rank which is the category-wise rank allotted to candidates

NEET PG 2020 - Tie breaking criteria

NBE has set its own rules for resolving ties among candidates who secure the same marks. The points below describe in details the tie breaking criteria for NEET PG result 2020

  • Negative responses - The candidate who has given less number of negative responses in the examination will be given first preference

  • Higher marks in part C - Candidate who secures higher marks in Part C section of the question paper

  • Minimum negative responses in part C - Next tie breaking method that the authorities will adopt is allotting better merit rank in the result of NEET PG to the candidate whose less number of negative responses have been recorded in part C of the examination

  • Higher marks in part B - Candidate securing higher marks in part B of the examination will secure higher merit rank

  • Less negative response in part B - Candidate getting less number of negative marks in part B

  • Higher marks in part A - The candidate who secures higher marks in part A

  • Less negative responses in part A - Candidate who receives less number of negative marking in part A will be allotted better rank in NEET PG result 2020

  • Age - Candidate older in age will be given preference

NEET PG 2020 Result - Validity

Candidates seeking admission through the national level entrance examination should be aware of the validity period of their result. As per NBE the result of NEET PG will be valid for one year, i.e., one academic session only. Under no circumstances will candidates be allowed to carry forward their NEET PG result 2020 to the next academic session. Under effect of NEET PG 2020 result candidates will be granted admission to the following:

a. MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Central and Deemed Universities.

b. MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in government medical institutions.

c. MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS)

Medical graduates must also remember that NBE does not entertain requests for rechecking and re-evaluation, the result once declared will be considered final.

If you are asking about neet pg, then photo requirements for neet pg application form is that"-
  • it should be a color one with white background only and at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate, it should be passport-size, and not older than 6 months,
  • should be devoid of any border and the facial features and should be clearly visible,recently clicked,
  • Should be having the name of candidate ,date of capturing the photograph  imprinted at the bottom of the photo,
  • should be of 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height) in dimension and
  • the file size not more than 80 KB,printed on a high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dp.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.
