Questions related to DNB PDCET

Having currently doing the PGDMCH from IGNOU, the eligibility for you to take the DNB PDCET after the completion of your ongoing diploma course to obtain a secondary degree might modify. You can check out the latest requirements and eligibility criteria for the DNB PDCET follow the given link

Usually every year cutoff was under 500 rank for DNB CET in all specialisation you have high chance to get admission in DNB obgy but ot is not sure which location you may get as the city you mentioned is full early than other less popular Cities.

However The cutoff marks are also different for different institutes. The cutoff marks for institutes located in metros are usually higher than the cutoff marks for institutes located in rural areas.

Unfortunately, you are not eligible to appear for the DNB PDCET examination to pursue a DNB in Pediatrics.

The DNB PDCET is specifically designed for candidates who have completed a postgraduate diploma. As you have already completed an MD in Community Medicine, which is a postgraduate degree, you are not eligible for the PDCET.

You can appear for the regular DNB entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This is the standard route for MD/MS holders to pursue a DNB specialty.

I recommend checking the official website of the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding eligibility criteria and exam dates.

Hello there,

If you have completed your Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and are interested in joining a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) program, you can pursue various specialties in physiotherapy, such as Orthopedics, Neurology, or Sports Medicine. DNB programs offer advanced training and are recognized by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India.

To enroll in a DNB program, you typically need to:

  1. Check Eligibility : Ensure you meet the educational qualifications and experience required for the specific DNB course.

  2. Clear Entrance Exam : Most DNB programs require candidates to pass an entrance exam, such as the DNB-CET (Common Entrance Test).

  3. Application Process : Follow the application procedure outlined by the NBE or the specific institution offering the DNB program. This may include submitting documents, attending interviews, and other requirements.

It's important to research the specific DNB programs available and their respective admission criteria. You can find more detailed information about DNB programs and their requirements on the National Board of Examinations website (https://www.natboard.edu.in) .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Dear applicant although it is somewhat difficult for you to get DNB Obstetrics or Gynecology but yes since your are from OBC Category you have moderate possibilities of getting admissions. Though it is just an assumption but based on the rank that you secured you have better possibilities of admission in courses line MD in Pharmacology, MD in Biochemistry, MD in Anatomy, MD in General Medicine etc. But yes cut off can vary and you can get a seat.
