No you won't have to appear for Gujcet fir admission to mbbs Course.

In India neet is the only entrance exam for mbbs . You will have to appear for Neet.

Gujcet is applicable to other paramedical courses and not mbbs .

Eligibility criteria for mbbs

The candidate must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks in physics , chemistry and biology from any government recognized university . English is also mandatory subject .

The candidate must appear for Neet exam and must qualify it .

NEET is National eligibility cum entrance test.

It is applicable to most of medical courses like mbbs, bds, bams, bhms, Ayush and verinary science.

For getting a mbbs seat you will have to appear for Neet.

NEET is National eligibility cum entrance test  and it is the biggest entrance exam of India and a doorway to Most of medical courses including mbbs, bds, bams, bhms, Bpt ,  veterinary science and Ayush.

Though Neet is the mandatory entrance exam for veterinary science too but there are many colleges that offer bvsc seats without neet.

Admission to BVSC can be got through ICAR AIEEA and CG PAT .

Colleges offering verinary vouches without neet

Junagadh agricultural university , Junagadh ,Odisa university of agricultural technology Bhubneshwar

West bengal university of Animal husbandry and fishery Science , Kolkata .

Other eligibility criteria for bvsc is tk have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks with physics, chemistry and biology subjects along with English as mandatory subject from any recognized university.

  • Toughness of exam
  • normalisation process

cut for mbbs is very high due to tough competition so is for courses like bams , bhms .

neet qualifying cut off bams 2024 is minimum marks required to pass the entrance exam whereas afmission bams neet cut off 2024 is the last rank at which admission will be granted to the student.

For general category it is 50 th percentile

For sc/ st / obc it is 40 percentile.
