    The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET UG 2024 on May 5 in online mode. The revised NEET UG 2024 result along with the scorecard was released on July 26. Based on the NEET 2024 result, the MCC counselling started from August 14 for the 15% AIQ seats in government colleges. State NEET UG counselling was conducted by the respective state authorities for the rest 85% state quota seats.

    NTA announced the revised cut offs for NEET UG 2024 exam on its official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The official NEET 2024 answer key PDF along with the OMR sheet was released by the authority before declaring the NEET result. The NTA conducted the NEET UG exam on May 5, 2024, for over 24 lakh students. As per the NMC data, over 1 lakh MBBS seats, 26,949 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, 603 BVSc & AH, 1,899 AIIMS seats and 249 JIPMER seats were granted in 612 medical and 315 dental colleges based on NEET 2024 scores.     Who conducted NEET exam 2024?

    NEET 2024 was conducted in the offline mode which is pen and paper-based by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Over 24 lakh aspirants appeared for NEET UG for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc nursing and AYUSH courses. While NTA was responsible for conducting the exam, the NEET seats in India were granted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through All India Quota counselling and by the state conducting bodies for 85% state quota counselling sessions.

    Applicants must comply with NEET eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The following are the NEET 2024 eligibility criteria:

    • Minimum age requirement: Candidates must have completed 17 years by 31 December 2024 to appear for NEET 2024.

    • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), or Foreign Nationals.

    • Educational qualifications: Students who have either passed or who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent are eligible to apply for NEET-UG 2024.

    • Subjects studied: Aspirants interested in applying for NTA NEET 2024 must have studied physics, chemistry, biology, and English at a recognised board.

    • Qualification exam marks: Candidates must score at least 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology in the qualifying examination. For candidates from SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories, the minimum mark requirement is 40%.

    Documents required for NEET 2024 application form

    • One valid identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, ration card, bank account passbooks, passports, or any other government photo ID card.

    • Personal details: Detailed information about the candidate and parents, such as their name, date of birth, permanent address, active email address, and mobile number.

    • Diagrams are an instrumental part of NEET preparation. Be sure to memorize every Biology diagram so you can comprehend the topic more effectively. Retention of information is easier with pictures.

    • In physics, it is essential to solving as many questions as possible. It is also recommended to create a spreadsheet containing all the formulas and laws discussed in each chapter.

    • To learn chemistry effectively, you need to memorize chemical equations and diagrams. As soon as you have completed each chemistry chapter, make a sheet containing chemical equations and formulas of that chapter.

    NEET 2024 answer key

    Using the NEET answer key releases by NTA, candidates can estimate their probable NEET 2024 score. A candidate should consult the answer key to assess one's performance in NEET 2024. For candidates who wish to challenge the questions, a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 applies. The NEET UG final answer key is released a few hours before results are announced. Candidates cannot challenge the NTA NEET 2024 final answer key under any circumstances.

    The NTA released the NEET UG result on neet.ntaonline.in in the form of scorecards. The NEET 2024 scorecard contains the information about candidates, their qualifications and marks, their AIR, their category, and their 15% All India Quota.     NEET 2024 counselling

    The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET counselling based on NEET 2024 scores for 15% of all AIQ seats in government colleges and 100% for deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The state counselling authorities conduct counselling for the remaining 85% of state quota seats.

    The NEET AIQ counselling 2024 process comprises four rounds: rounds 1, 2, mop-up, and stray vacancies. A seat gets allocated according to the choices selected by applicants, the rank in the NEET 2024, and the availability of seats and reservations. NEET UG 2024 counselling process includes registering, choosing courses, and paying the registration fee.

    Applicants who qualify as part of the NEET 2024 All India Quota, are eligible to participate in the counselling process. It must ne noted that candidates need to upload various documents required for NEET counselling.     The NEET qualifying cutoff for ST category was 143-113. For ST (PWD) , the cut off marks 2025 was 126-113. As you have not mentioned the closing rank for a particular college. Here, we have provided the college wise 2025 MBBS closing rank for ST category.
