NEET Admit Card 2020 - National Testing Agency will release the NEET 2020 admit card on March 27 in online mode at ntaneet.nic.in. The admit card of NEET 2020 last date is May 3. To download the NEET admit card 2020, candidates must enter their NEET application number and date of birth. Candidates are required to carry the printout of the admit card of NEET 2020 along a passport size photo and a valid photo ID and the proforma, while appearing for the exam. After candidates download NEET 2020 admit card, they will also be mailed a copy of the same in PDF format to their registered email ID. In case aspirants cannot download NEET UG admit card or any discrepancy, they must contact the helpline number from March 27 to April 10, 2020, between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. NEET exam will be conducted on May 3, across 155 cities in two national and nine regional languages which includes, English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Bengali and Urdu. For NEET 2020, total of 15,93,452 registrations have been received by NTA, of which, with 2,28,829 number of registered students Maharashtra has highest number of applicants. Through NEET 2020 offline exam, candidates will be granted admission to 76,928 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc, 1205 AIIMS MBBS and 200 JIPMER MBBS seats. These seats will be offered by 532 medical, 313 dental, 910 AYUSH, 47 veterinary, 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER institutes of India.

How to download NEET admit card 2020?

Following are the steps to access NTA NEET 2020 admit card.

Step 1: Click on the "Download NEET admit card 2020" link. (Link will be activated on March 27, 2020).

Step 2: Enter NEET 2020 Application number, date of birth, security pin and then click on ‘Submit’ button (see image below).

Step 3: NEET admit card 2020 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Check the details mentioned on the admit card. In case of discrepancy, contact the authorities for rectification.

Step 5: If all details are correct, use the download link to avail it in PDF format.

Step 6: Save and take a printout of the admit card of NEET 2020.

Step 7: Get the parent’s signature in the space provided for the same in the NEET 2020 admit card.

Step 8: Download the proforma along with admit card of NEET 2020 and paste on a postcard size photo on it.

It is mandatory for aspirants to verify the details mentioned in NEET UG admit card 2020. Any discrepancy in the admit card should be immediately informed to NEET NTA 2020 admission committee for rectification. Below mentioned are the details which will be displayed on the admit card:

How to retrieve application number for NEET admit card 2020?

In case if the application number of candidates is lost or forgotten, the following steps can be used to retrieve it.

  1. Go to the official website of NTA NEET 2020

  2. Click on ‘Forgot registration number’ link under current events

  3. Submit the asked details like candidate’s name, name of parents, date of birth, category and security pin

  4. NEET application number to download the admit card will be sent to the registered email ID

What if NEET UG 2020 admit card is lost?

If the downloaded admit card is lost, candidates are advised not to panic and check their email ID. As per the official brochure, NTA will send NEET admit card 2020 PDF to the mail ID after the issuance date. You can download it and save it for future references.

If aspirants cannot download NEET (UG) 2020 admit card or in case of any discrepancy in hall ticket, they must immediately contact the helpline from March 27 to April 10, 2020. Such candidates will then be allowed to appear for NEET examination.

What to bring at exam centre along with NTA NEET admit card 2020?

Along with NEET admit card UG, below-mentioned documents should also be carried at the exam centre. Without any of the documents, candidates will not be allowed to enter NEET exam centre 2020.

How to download NEET admit card 2020 without Internet?

The facility of Common Service Centres (CSCs) has been provided for candidates who do not have Internet services for NEET UG 2020 admit card download access. More than 2.4 lakh CSCs have been established for NEET applicants to support in NEET admit card 2020 download, filling application form, download result with a minimum fee. The admit card of NEET 2020 will include the exact address of exam centre. NEET UG 2020 exam will be held in more than 2546 exam centres in 155 cities of India. It must be noted that NEET exam centres 2020 will be allotted in a random manner on the basis of preferences filled by applicants while registering. The allotment process of exam centres will be done on a first come first serve basis.

NEET 2020 Admit Card – Exam Day Guidelines

NTA has listed out the NEET exam day guidelines 2020 to be followed by all candidates at the exam hall and during the exam. Candidates not following them are liable to be debarred from the exam. The NEET 2020 exam day guidelines are as follows:

  • Reporting for NEET 2020 will start at 12 pm so reach the exam centre well in advance.
  • The last entry will be at 1.30 pm beyond which students will not be allowed to appear for the exam. So, avoid reaching this late.
  • NTA will arrange for jammers at all centres to disallow electronic communication and malpractices therein.
  • Students will also have to undergo biometric verification to eliminate impersonation.
  • Stationery items, textual material (written or printed), any kind of paper, docu-pen, slide rules, or log tables, geometry and pencil box will note be allowed into the exam hall.
  • Electronic items like mobile phone, microphone, pager, calculator, camera, tape recorder, watches, and microchips etc are also not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Water bottles and eatables are barred from the exam hall so students should avoid bringing such items

NEET Admit card 2020 - Special guidelines for parents

NTA, in the information brochure, has issued guidelines for the parents of the NEET 2020 aspirants so as to ensure that the candidates follow all the rules and regulations. These guidelines are issued in the interest of the candidates and guides the parents to make sure that all avoidable issues are at bay. Any candidate who is found in conflict with the rules will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

  • Wards will have to maintain discipline at the exam centre, and follow all the instructions printed on NEET 2020 admit card.
  • Wards must not violate any exam rule.
  • Using unfair means is strictly prohibited and candidates must report any other candidate who He/She finds in using unfair practices.
  • Carrying barred items to the exam hall is not allowed, parents must ensure that no such item is found with the candidate.
  • It is necessary to follow the dress code of NEET 2020.

NEET 2020 Dress Code

NTA has prescribed a dress code for NEET 2020. The guidelines include the type of clothes that can be worn, footwear as well as dos and donts with regard to the attire worn on the day of the exam. These guidelines can be summarized as

  • Avoid light clothes with half sleeves or long sleeves.
  • Don’t wear shoes.
  • Avoid wearing caps, scarfs or any such headgear unless its part of the customary dress which can be worn with prior permission.
  • Don’t wear any jewellery
  • Metal items of any kind including big buttons, hair clips and belt buckles are not allowed hence they are to be avoided. There will be metal detectors in place at every centre
  • While money is allowed, carrying wallets is not allowed so candidates must not carry them
  • Candidates with restrictions like customary dress must have specified the same while filling the NEET 2020 application form. Such candidates are required to report to the exam centre by 12.30 noon to allow proper frisking.
  • It is a mandatory practice to frisk all candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates must, therefore, be prepared for this.

Candidates who indulge in malpractices will be debarred for 3 years and also liable for criminal action. The NEET 2020 Result of such candidates will also be cancelled.

Special rules for Diabetic students: Such students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) along with a transparent water bottle. However, they cannot carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwich etc.

NEET 2020 Guidelines to follow inside the exam hall

Apart from the other guidelines, there is a code of conduct to be followed during the exam. These guidelines have been detailed below.

  • Candidates must sign on the NEET admit card 2020 in the presence of the invigilator as well as on the attendance sheet.
    Their photo ID and admit card will be thoroughly verified by the invigilator.
  • They must submit the photo they have carried to the exam hall to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  • They are advised to read the instructions on the question paper
  • The details section in the NEET OMR sheet must be filled in their handwriting with correct details
  • They have to maintain silence during the exam and avoid talking or conversing with the person sitting next to them.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall till the exam concludes.
  • The examination of NEET 2020 will be video graphed and candidates are advised to support the authorities in the same. They will also be required to sit upright and keep their face straight so that their identities can be established.

Things to note about NEET admit card 2020

  • The admit card of NEET 2020 will not be sent via post, candidates must download it.
  • Candidates will not be issued a duplicate of NEET 2020 admit card in any circumstances.
  • It is prohibited to change any detail mentioned on the NEET admit card 2020.
  • A copy or two of NEET admit card must be retained until the end of admission process.
  • Issuance of admit card does not mean necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility. It is subject to scrutiny at subsequent stages of the admission process.

What after NEET exam 2020?

Once the exam concludes, students usually check for the answer keys to the question papers of NEET 2020. Leading coaching centres like Aakash, Allen Kota, Resonance, Learn.careers360 etc release the answer key of NEET for the various codes of the question paper distributed in the exam that day. Candidates can use the answer key to compare their answers and calculate their probable scores. NTA will release the NEET 2020 answer key soon after the exam.

Answer:

Answer:

You can mail the copy of NTA NEET admit card along with your issue and details. Also, request them to rectify the matter, else you might face problem on the day of exam.

Hi Manjit,

I also had the same doubt last year and I was also a bit nervous. But as large number of students have uploaded the photo without name and date so NTA accepted the applications in which photos were without name and date.

I think that this year also the same as happened, so no need to worry about.

neet paper contains 45 question.so there is  a possibility that you would be confident in  some field of chemistry.try to focus on those part first.if you can solve those question then automatically you will see that you would get answer for the difficult question.try to figure out your strength and weekness.because neet is all about different type of strategy that must be implemented during examination.
