CBSE NEET hall ticket will not be sent to the candidates in offline mode, either via post or any other means, and will only be available online. The cbseneet.in NEET admit card will be accessible through the official website. Candidates will be able to download their NEET 2018 admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth.

 

After downloading NEET UG admit card, candidates will be required to affix a separate passport size photograph on the NEET 2018 admit card. Besides that, in case of any discrepancy in the admit card of NEET 2018 for UG candidates, candidates must contact CBSE office, since the information provided on the admit card will be checked against candidate’s original documents at the time of admission and counselling of NEET. Only those candidates who had successfully submitted their NEET application form by March 12, 2018 (5.30 PM) and had made the payment of application fee before March 13, 2018 (till 11.30 PM), and whose application forms were accepted by CBSE, will be able to access NEET admit card 2018 for now.

Important: No candidate will be allowed to enter the NEET exam centre without a valid hall ticket. Who cannot download the NEET Admit Card 2018?

Candidates belonging to open schools and those above the upper age limit are currently not permitted to download the admit card of NEET 2018. As per the official notification issued by the CBSE in this regard dated April 17, 2018, those candidates who were allowed to submit the application form of NEET 2018 on the basis of Delhi High Court order passed on February 26 and February 28 will not be allowed to download the NEET 2018 admit card until the final verdict is passed in this case on or after April 24, 2018. These candidates, primarily comprising those from open schools or those above the upper age limit, are currently being shown a 'SUBJUDICE' message when they try and download the NEET admit card. Important Changes in NEET 2018 Admit Card

  • No Proforma Requirement: Till last year, the NEET admit card contained a separate proforma sheet in which candidates were required to affix their postcard size photograph. However, the admit card of NEET 2018 only carries the main admit card details and important instructions, indicating that the proforma is no longer a requirement in the 2018 NEET admit card.
  • Separate Instructions Page: The CBSE has issued a separate 'Important Instructions' sheet which forms Page 2 of the NEET 2018 admit card document. Last year's admit card contained the important instructions on the same page as the admit card details, while the second page contained the proforma sheet which has now been done away with. Candidates can read on this page all the important instructions related to the NEET admit card 2018 as released by the CBSE.

How to download NEET 2018 Admit Card?

Step 1: Click on the link given above on this page. (The link has been activated on April 17, 2018)

Step 2: Enter your registration number and date of birth, along with security pin as it appears in the image. Click on ‘Submit’ button.

Step 3: Candidates will now be redirected to their NEET admit card 2018.

Step 4: Candidates can save and download (in PDF format) the admit card or hall ticket of NEET 2018 by clicking on ‘Print’ and then saving it as PDF. In order to print the admit card of NEET 2018, candidates can simply clink on ‘Print’ button.

CAUTION: Due to heavy traffic, candidates may not be able to immediately download the NEET admit card 2018 or CBSE website may show an error soon after the admit card release. Candidates are advised not to panic and to attempt downloading the NEET 2018 admit card after waiting for some time.

What to do after downloading NEET Admit Card 2018?

After downloading the admit card of NEET 2018 or obtaining it through the help of CSC, candidates must do the following in order to make the NEET admit card 2018 ready to be taken to the NEET entrance exam centre.

  1. Paste a passport size photograph in the space provided in the admit card which says ‘Please affix photograph as uploaded in application form’.

  2. A passport size photograph (same as that appears on the application form) should be kept aside. This photograph will be affixed on the attendance sheet of NEET 2018 in the exam hall.

It is important for all the candidates to take their admit card (with affixed passport size photograph) and a passport size photograph to the examination centre of NEET.

Important Instructions as per NEET 2018 Admit Card

Find below the important instructions issued by the CBSE on Page 2 of the NEET Admit Card 2018 -

  • No mobile phones allowed: Candidates will not be allowed to carry any communication device inside the exam hall.

  • Dress Code: The exam dress code will have to be adhered to strictly.

  • Read Information Bulletin Carefully: Candidates and their parents are requested to read the Information Bulletin carefully before the examination. Candidates are advised to adhere to all the instructions given in the Bulletin. Any Infringement of Instructions shall entail disciplinary action including no entry in the examination centre and ban from future NEET (UG) examinations.

  • About the Two Entry Slots: There are two entry slots, ie. “A” & “B”. For slot “A”, entry time is from 07:30 am to 08.30 am and for slot “B”, entry time is from 08:30 am to 09.30 am. Reach centre as per your allotted entry slot. This will avoid rush at entry during summer.

  • Visit Centre in Advance: It is advised to visit the centre a day before the examination to confirm the location, distance etc. of centre to avoid delay. It is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the centre on time. No candidate, whatsoever is the reason, shall be allowed entry in examination centre after 9.30 am. Check the time with the clock available on NEET website.

  • Reach Centre on Time: Parents may ensure that their ward is leaving for examination as per instructions given in the Bulletin especially in Chapter 5, 9 & 11. They shall also ensure that they are reaching the examination centre as per entry slot on the day of examination. For the same, your ward should leave the home, well in advance, considering traffic, location of the centre and weather condition etc. to avoid any problem in reaching late to the centre. Parent may sign in Admit Card as an undertaking that they will ensure compliance of NEET examination rules.

  • Material to be brought on the day of examination: (i) Valid Admit Card, (ii) Passport Size Photograph to be affixed on attendance sheet. No other document is required to be carried.

  • No arrangement for personal belongings: No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any article/item/mobile/purse/Key etc. of the candidates.

  • Provision of pens: Candidates shall be provided Blue/Black ball point pen at the examination centre to write particulars on the cover page of Test Booklet, OMR sheet and for darkening the circles of responses.

  • About Frisking: Candidates will strictly follow all the instructions issued to check unfair activities in the examination. Candidate will be frisked before commencement of the examination. Physically & with scanners.

  • About photograph: Please affix your photograph in NEET 2018 Admit Card as uploaded on your online application form.

  • Check Test Booklet: Candidate should check carefully that the Test Booklet Code printed on Side 2 of the OMR sheet is the same as printed on Test Booklet and ensure that the Test Booklet contains as many numbers of pages as written on the top of the cover page of the Test Booklet.

  • No tampering with Test Booklet: The Candidate shall not remove any page(s) from the Test Booklet and if any page(s) is/are found missing from his/her test booklet, he/she will be prosecuted and shall be liable for criminal action.

  • Use of Toilets: No candidate shall be allowed to use toilets in last 30 minutes of examination i.e. from 12.30 pm to 01.00 pm.

  • Leaving Exam Hall: No Candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before concluding the Test. On completion of the Test, candidate must hand over duly signed OMR Sheet to the Invigilator and take away only the Test Booklet. No Candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall without handing over the OMR sheet to the Invigilator concerned.

  • Admit Card and Eligibility: The NEET Admit Card 2018 is issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions.

  • Preserving Admit Card: Candidate must preserve the Admit Card till the allotment of seat in College/Institution.

  • For further updates: Candidate may regularly visit Board’s website www.cbseneet.nic.in for latest updates. Candidate may also check email regularly till the completion of final round of Counselling.

  • Regarding medium of exam: For Medium of question papers please read instructions 2(C) in chapter - 2 of Information Bulletin. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.

Candidates must carefully read the information provided on admit card of NEET 2018. In case there is any discrepancy in the details or information provided on NEET admit card 2018, perhaps even a spelling mistake, candidates should immediately bring it to the notice of the CBSE office.

 

NEET Exam Centres 2018

CBSE will conduct NEET 2018 entrance exam in almost all the states and union territories of India. NEET 2018 will be conducted in approximately 2000 exam centres across 150 NEET 2018 exam cities. Candidates will be required to report at the exam centre of NEET at 7.30 AM or 8.30 AM depending on the exam slot allotted to them. Each candidates will be allotted either Slot A (7.30 AM to 8.30 AM) or Slot B (8.30 AM to 9.30 AM) and candidates should report within their given slot so as to help in avoiding rush at the time of entry. No candidate will be permitted in NEET 2018 examination hall after 9:30 A.M.

More than 2.4 Lakhs Common Service Centres (CSCs) are available around the country. These service centres will provide candidates (especially from rural areas) with access to internet service, through which NEET 2018 Admit Cards can be downloaded on nominal charges.


Question: Should I paste a photograph on admit card of NEET 2018?

Answer: Yes. A passport size photograph should be affixed on NEET 2018 admit card. The photograph should be same as it appears on the application form of NEET.

NEET 2018 will likely be conducted on May 6, 2018. NEET 2018 is a three hour long exam which will begin from 10.00 AM Reporting at the exam centre of NEET will begin from 7.30 AM on the exam day. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 9.45 AM.

 

NEET 2018 exam will comprise 180 questions taken from 10+2 level syllabus of Physics, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. As per NEET 2018 exam pattern, candidates will be alloted +4 marks for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The result of NEET 2018 will be declared by June 5, 2018.
