The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, released the cut-off ranks for admission into B.Sc Nursing courses for the academic year 2024–25. The cut-offs vary across different government and private colleges in the state and are further segregated based on reservation categories. The merit ranks are used for admissions via the MHT CET, and candidates are selected depending on their ranks in respective categories. The data spans across more than 200 nursing institutions in Maharashtra, including government, private, and minority colleges.

The General (Open) category observed the highest competition, especially in government medical colleges of Maharashtra. Top-ranked candidates secured admission to renowned institutions like Sir J.J. College of Nursing, Mumbai, where the cut-off rank closed at 323. Similarly, Government Medical Colleges in Pune and Nagpur had cut-offs below 300 for the first round. Private institutions, on the other hand, extended cut-offs much lower, often in the range of 9000 to 15,000. The wide cut-off band shows the availability of seats even for students with lower ranks in less competitive colleges.

In prominent government colleges, the cut-offs closed below 5000, while in many private institutions, the ranks extended well above 12,000.
