The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2025 in offline mode. The NTA is expected to release the exam calendar 2025 on its official website. NEET exam 2025 is the national-level entrance exam for MBBS and BDS admissions in various medical and dental colleges across India. Important details of NEET UG 2025 are shared in the article below.

NEET exam 2025 will be conducted in a pen-and-paper mode. The NEET 2025 syllabus comprises Physics, Chemistry and Biology from both class 11 and 12 textbooks. The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in 13 different languages. Eligible candidates are required to fill NEET application form in online mode. The authority will issue the NEET admit cards for the successfully registered candidates. The authority will release the NEET answer key a few days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates will be allowed to challenge the answer key by paying Rs 200 per answer. After this process, the authority will declare the NEET 2025 result along with the cutoff. NEET official answer key will also be released along with the result.

Candidates qualifying for the medical entrance test by securing the NEET cutoff 2025 will be eligible for counselling. NEET counselling will be conducted online in 4 rounds. Through the NEET exam 2025, admission will be granted to over 1 lakh MBBS seats, 28,088 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, 603 BVSc & AH seats, along with 1,899 AIIMS seats and 249 JIPMER seats, distributed across 612 medical and 315 dental colleges. NEET 2025 Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET counselling 2025 based on NEET 2025 scores for 15% of all AIQ seats in government colleges and 100% for deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The state counselling authorities conduct counselling for the remaining 85% of state quota seats.

The NEET AIQ counselling process comprises four rounds: rounds 1, 2, 3, and stray vacancy round. A seat gets allocated according to the choices selected by applicants, the rank in the NEET 2025, and the availability of seats and reservations. NEET UG 2025 counselling process includes registering, choosing courses, and paying the registration fee.

If your daughter is currently studying in a CBSE affiliated school in Qatar and has been living abroad for the past few years, she will likely qualify for an NRI seat when applying for NEET, as she meets the criteria of being an Indian citizen residing abroad and completing her 10th and 12th education from a foreign country.
