About SVNIRTAR CET 2025

The Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Research (SVNIRTAR), Odisha, conducts the Common Entrance Test, also known as SVNIRTAR CET for admissions to undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) and Bachelor in Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO) at the NILD Kolkata, SVNIRTAR CuttackNIEPMD Chennai and PDUNIPPD New Delhi institutes.

As per the latest update, the registrations for the SVNIRTAR 2025 exam have started. Students can fill out the SVNIRTAR application form 2025 till June 16 up to 11:59 PM. The authorities have also published the SVNIRTAR information brochure, mentioning the complete schedule, application form process, selection process, etc. Candidates who will fill out the application forms will be issued the SVNIRTAR admit card by June 15. 

THE SVNIRTAR CET 2025 has been scheduled tentatively for June 16. The exam will be held online in English and consists of 100 MCQs. The duration of the test will be 2 hours, and there will be no negative marking. The results for SVNIRTAR 2025 will be declared on July 2. The SVNIRTAR counselling will be conducted for qualified candidates from July 5 onwards.

BPT

A Candidate should have passed the 10+2 standard in science or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in PCBE. For SC/ST and Divyangjan candidates, the minimum mark should be 40% and 45% respectively.

BOT

A Candidate who has passed 10+2 in science or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum aggregate 50% marks in PCBE. For SC/ST and Divyangjan candidates, the minimum mark should be 40% and 45% respectively.

BPO

A Candidate who has passed 10+2 in science or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English with a minimum aggregate 50% marks in PCBE/PCME. For SC/ST and Divyangjan candidates, the minimum mark should be 40% and 45% respectively.


SVNIRTAR CET 2025 Reservation 

Reservation for SC (15%), ST (7.5%) and OBC (27%) are kept vertically and for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/PH, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and North East (NE) State candidates will get reservation horizontally.

The steps to fill out the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 application form are as follows - 

  1. Go to svnirtar.nic.in and click LOGIN/REGISTER to create a profile. If you are a new user, click on “New User? Create Account”. If you have already created a profile, then log in with the mobile number and password.

  2. Please fill in the personal details with appropriate data and click on “Continue to Step II”

  3. Fill in the parental details, address and additional details asked in the application form. Then click on “Continue to Step III”

  4. Fill in the marks of class 12 properly and then click on “Continue to Step IV”

  5. Upload all the documents asked for and click on “Continue to Step V”. These documents need to be uploaded in JPG format only - 

  • Class 10th mark sheet

  • Class 12th mark sheet

  • Left thumb impression

  • Recent coloured passport-size photograph

  • Signature 

  • UDID Card if available 

  1. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Please enter the OTP and click on “Verify & Complete Sign Up”

  2. Note down the Login ID and Password for further use and click on “Go To Dashboard”.

  3. Under the Apply to CET menu, select “CET 2025” from the drop-down and click on “Apply Now”

  4. Please choose any 3 exam centres as per your preference and then click on “Review & Confirm”

  5. If you want to edit the exam centre preference, you can click on “Go Back & Edit”. Otherwise, click on “Confirm & Proceed”

  6. Pay the application fee as prescribed by SVNIRTAR and take a printout of the fee receipt for future reference. The Application fee is Rs 1300 for the General category and Rs. 1000 for the SC/ST/PWD category. 

  1. After the successful payment of the application fee, go to the dashboard and click on “My Application” select “Print Application Form”, and click on “Go”

Left Thumb Impression Requirements - The thumb impression should be clearly visible in black or blue ink only and should have a dimension of 5 cm * 5 cm (Height * Width). Only JPEG/JPG image format will be accepted.

Signature Requirements - The signature should be in black or blue ink only, with a dimension of 2 cm * 7 cm (Height * width). Names written in capital letters will not be considered as signatures. Only JPEG/JPG image format will be accepted.

Note: Please remember that there is no correction window available, and hence the candidates are advised to fill out the application form carefully.

The registered candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website by logging in with their credentials. Carrying an SVNIRTAR CET 2025 admit card at the exam centre is mandatory to be allowed to sit for the test. 

How to download the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 admit card?

  1. Open the official website svnirtar.nic.in/ and click on the link provided for downloading the admit card.

  2. Enter the application number and the rest of the details in it

  3. Once the admit card is displayed, cross-check it and download the same

  4. Take a printout of the admit card once you have cross-checked the details

Documents Required at the Exam Centre

  • SVNIRTAR CET 2025 Admit card

  • Self-attested copy of Aadhar card/ PAN card/ Passport/ Voter ID or any valid government-issued ID

  • PwD certificate issued by the concerned authority

  • Letter of undertaking of own scribe (if applicable)

Note: The candidate has to keep the admit card duly signed by the invigilator till he/she takes final admission.

The result of SVNIRTAR CET 2025 is declared in the scorecard form at svnirtar.nic.in. Candidates who appear for the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 can check their All India and category ranks on the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 scorecards. 

How to check the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 result?

  • Go to the official website of the conducting body, svnirtar.nic.in.

  • Click on the link provided for the result under the “Student login” section on the official website.

  • Log in by entering your Mobile number and date of birth.

  • After successful login, the result will be displayed in the form of a scorecard.

  • Take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.

After the result declaration, the conducting body will release the first merit list of the candidates qualified in the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 with a Common Merit Rank. The candidate will have to book the seat online as per his/her choice by making a payment of Rs. 500 (non-refundable/ non-adjustable, free for the UDID candidates). 

The candidate will have to secure a seat by paying (online) an amount of Rs. 10,000/- for seat locking (to be adjusted or deducted from admission fees of the respective institute, forfeitable or non-refundable if the candidate leaves this course/documents mismatch during physical verification at respective Institute) if the allotted seat satisfies his/her choice. 

Candidates may skip to pay or lock/confirm the seat and may participate in a second counselling if it does not satisfy his/her choice of course/institution.

Steps for SVNIRTAR CET 2025 E-Counselling and Seats Allocation

  • Candidates will have to book a seat for the SVNIRTAR CET 2025 e-counselling by payment of Rs.500

  • The admission cell will allot the seat from the aspirant's preferred choice of Course and Institute based on Common Merit Rank and respective Categories/ Sub-Categories and display the allotment list on the website.

  • Check the allotted seat on the website, and lock/confirm the allocation by paying Rs. 10,000/-, it is not possible to change the choice in particular counselling after locking the seat after completion of payment. 

  • Seats will be allotted as per the rank in the 1st round of counselling. A candidate who is allotted a seat shall be admitted provisionally, He/She should report to the selected institute for Document verification, without a valid document or insufficient document or mismatch the seat will be cancelled.

  • Once documents are verified, he/she shall be offered provisional admission & must pay the balance prescribed fee online within the stipulated period. If the candidate is unwilling or fails to pay the balance of admission Fees within a specified period of time as mentioned in the activity schedule, seats will be marked as Vacant and the seat booking fee will be forfeited.

  • After the payment of the Admission Fees, the status of his/her application form should change to “Admission Fee Paid”. The Candidate must take a print-out of the Application Form again, with the newly updated status.

Documents required for SVNIRTAR Counselling 

  • Original SVNIRTAR admit card 2025 
  • E-Counselling seat allotment offer letter.
  • Print-out of application form
  • Aadhar Card
  • Date of birth (Secondary School/Matriculation Certificate) issued by the affiliating board. 
  • Certificate and mark sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board/University.
  • CLC/ILC and Conduct/Character Certificate issued by the head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination was passed or by the principal of the college/school where the candidate has studied last.
  • Certificate of medical fitness to be signed by the Government. Medical Officer.
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ Physically Handicapped (Divyangjan)/ UDID card if the candidate is a valid
  • UDID card holder certificate issued by the appropriate authorities, based on which the reservation is claimed. The concerned Institute may constitute a medical board to assess disability/eligibility of the candidate to pursue the said course.
  • SEBC Certificate issued by the Government of Odisha or any State Government. BC certificates applicable for their concerned state will not be accepted. OBC Certificate (Non-Creamy layer) issued in Government of India format only, and it should not be issued before April 1, 2024 will be accepted. 
  • Migration certificate in original from the respective regular Board/University where he/she has studied last, to be submitted as per the requirement of the University.

  • Nationality/Domicile/Residence Certificate
