RPVT Seats 2023 - Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry (RAJUVAS) releases the RPVT 2023 seat matrix along with the information booklet at rajuvas.org. The information about RPVT seats 2023 matrix will be helpful to candidates in understanding the number of seats available and choosing the respective college during the counselling process.
A total of ten colleges will be participating in the RPVT admission process. In total, 610 seats for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & A.H.) will be filled through RPVT 2023. The RPVT 2023 seat matrix includes the number of seats reserved under each category. According to RPVT seats 2023 reservation criteria, 79% of seats will be allocated to reserved candidates in the counselling process.

Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test, popularly referred to as RPVT, is a state-level entrance examination held in pen-paper mode. Only Rajasthan domicile candidates are allowed to take the RPVT exam. Candidates who qualify for RPVT 2023 will be eligible to participate in the RPVT counselling process for admission to BVSc and AH seats in the Rajasthan state.
For qualified candidates in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) and Animal Husbandry (A.H.) programmes, RPVT seats 2023 reservation criteria will apply. These candidates will be admitted per the Government of Rajasthan's instructions. Below is a table listing the percentage of RPVT 2023 seats reserved for each category in the RPVT exam 2023 based on last year's data.

As per the RPVT 2023 seat matrix, each constituent college will have two categories of seats, namely regular seats and payment seats.
The RPVT seat matrix will make 40 regular seats and 40 management seats available in each college.
The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will fill 15% of the total seats in each constituent college, i.e., 15 seats under the All India Quota, from regular seats in the constituent colleges.
Within the RPVT seats 2023 matrix, 5% and 1% seats will be reserved for candidates from the Defence and PH categories.

For any private affiliated college, there will be two types of RPVT seats 2023 - 40 seats allocated for state quotas and 40 reserved for management quotas.
In each RAJUVAS affiliated veterinary college, the Veterinary Council of India must fill 15% of the total seats, that is, 12 seats, under the All India Quota system. These 12 seats will be allocated from state quotas for each affiliated college.
Consequently, each affiliated college has 28 seats allocated by the state quota and 40 seats for the management.
In RPVT 2023, there will be 5% and 1% reserved seats for candidates from PH and Defence categories.

RAJUVAS will conduct the RPVT counselling in online mode for qualified candidates. Registration for RPVT counselling 2023 will be made at rajuvas.org by filling out personal, educational, communication, and other information. The required counselling fee for RPVT 2023 will be Rs. 500. RPVT 2023 seats will be assigned to eligible candidates during counselling following their performance in the veterinary entrance test, the RPVT 2023 seat matrix, reservation criteria, and other factors. As part of the RPVT 2023 admissions process, seat allocations will be based on the applicants' scores in the entrance test, ranking in the merit list, and availability of seats. RPVT counselling 2023 will take place online Candidates who qualify will be allocated RPVT seats following the process mentioned above for counselling. To participate in RPVT counselling, candidates must register on the RAJUVAS website.

Only Rajasthan residents are allowed to apply for the RPVT. According to the eligibility requirements, no additional states are permitted.
The Unreserved & EWS category candidates must have received a minimum of 50% combined marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English at Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent recognised qualifying examination in order to be eligible to compete in the RPVT 2022 test.
