AIIMS BSc nursing (Hons.) result will be issued as a PDF, mentioning the roll number, percentile, and All India Rank of the qualified students. BSc nursing AIIMS result includes the list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the mock round of counselling. Eligible candidates have to submit web options within the stipulated time period, based on which admission to AIIMS Nursing 2026 will be granted. Along with the AIIMS nursing result for B.Sc. (H), the authority also releases the overall cutoff rank.
The result of AIIMS BSc nursing 2026 will be released in two stages, as the evaluation of candidates is done at two stages: a) written test and b) interview. Both Stage 1 and the final AIIMS nursing result for B.Sc. nursing (post-basic) will be released in the form of a roll number-wise merit list of candidates who are selected for the admission process. The merit list includes the roll number of candidates, category, and the status of whether they are AIIMS candidates.
The result of AIIMS B.Sc. nursing (post-basic) will be released in the form of aggregate marks secured by candidates in Stage I & Stage II. Based on the performance in the CBT mode test and interview/personal assessment conducted by the authority, a final merit-wise list will also be released that includes details like roll number, category, total marks, and final rank.

If two or more candidates from the same category get the same marks in the entrance exam, their rank will be decided based on the following order of preference:
a) The candidate with higher marks in Biology (or Mathematics for Para-Medical courses) will be ranked higher.
b) If marks in Biology/Maths are also the same, the one with higher marks in Chemistry will be ranked higher.
c) If Chemistry marks are also the same, the one with higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.
d) If all subject marks are the same, the older candidate will be given preference.

The counselling of AIIMS BSc nursing starts after the declaration results of AIIMS Nursing 2026, depending on the nursing course. The mode of AIIMS nursing counselling is conducted in online mode for BSc nursing, whereas the counselling for B.Sc. (post-basic) is conducted in offline mode. The counselling for each course is conducted in various rounds.
B.Sc (H) Nursing - There are three rounds of online counselling
B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) - There is an interview followed by a personal assessment of the candidate
If there are seats left vacant after the first round of counselling, subsequent rounds of counselling are organised. Once a candidate has been allotted seat they are required to report at the designated college/institute within the stipulated time frame.
