Have a question related to Veterinary Science ?

Hello,

If you want to pursue Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH) after 12th, then NEET-UG is mandatory for admission in both government and private veterinary colleges across India.

Board marks alone are not enough, as veterinary seats are filled through NEET counselling (VET/AIQ).

Continue your NEET preparation seriously, as a good score can secure admission to top veterinary colleges.

ALL THE BEST.

Hello,

With rank 25,355 and 51 marks, it’s very unlikely to get a free/merit seat in a veterinary college in Hyderabad. Free seats usually need much higher marks. You could try for private/self-finance seats, or improve your score next year to aim for a government seat.

Hope you understand.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible. Since you have passed 12th with commerce, you do not have the science background (like biology, physics, chemistry) that is usually required for veterinary courses . Most veterinary programs need a science stream (especially biology) in 12th.

However, you can explore some options:

  1. Look for diploma or certificate courses in animal care or animal husbandry. These may accept commerce students.

  2. Switch to a science bridge course if available, then try for a veterinary degree later.

  3. Consider related fields like animal business management, veterinary administration, or animal nutrition, which sometimes allow commerce students.

So, directly joining a standard veterinary degree may not be possible, but there are alternative paths.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

It's unlikely you'll get a veterinary college in Bangalore with a KCET rank of 5000, even with the ST caste and CRPF quota, as the general cutoff is often around 1200, and even special category quotas typically don't extend that far.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello dear candidate,

With SC3 rank 8895 and CAP certificate your chances of getting government veterinary seat is vey low. you might get a seat in private college or through management quota.

I hope you find this helpful. Thank you.
