If I select General-EWS during application for neet/aiims/Jipmer PG exams, and if I cannot submit my EWS certificate during counselling process, can I still enter counselling as an Unreserved candidate based on UR merit list? Or will my candidacy be cancelled?

SRINITYA 1st Oct, 2020

Hello student,

If you cannot submit your ews certificate during counselling process then you will be considered under general category. That means you are not using the benefit that you have. Yes , you can enter counselling as an unreserved or general category candidate but you will have much chances of getting a good seat in good college. There is no harm in using it during counselling. It will be an added advantage for you when compared to other general category students.
