JIPMER PG 2020: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry will conduct JIPMER PG exam on May 17, 2020. JIPMER PG 2020 dates for July session has been announced on February 4. JIPMER PG 2020 July session will be conducted for admission to 100 seats in Masters of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses offered by JIPMER, Puducherry. The application form of JIPMER PG 2020 will be available from March 4 and a link for registration will be available on this page. Only the eligible candidates can fill JIPMER PG 2020 application form till April 9. The registered candidates can only download the admit card for JIPMER PG 2020 July session on April 28, tentatively. JIPMER PG is a computer based test conducted twice a year for January and July sessions.
In the last JIPMER PG June session, a total of 4673 candidates had qualified the test, while in the previous session, as many as 1007 aspirants had passed the entrance examination. In JIPMER PG 2020 July session, a total of 250 multiple choice questions will be asked for MD/MS courses, whereas, 100 questions for Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS). JIPMER PG result 2020 date is expected to be declared on May 22, in the form of merit list. Only the qualified candidates included in JIPMER PG merit list will be called for the counselling process, which will be organised in offline mode. The regulatory authority will conduct JIPMER PG counselling round one on June 11, 2020. A total of three rounds of JIPMER PG counselling 2020 will be conducted by the apex body including spot admission. Before applying for JIPMER PG 2020 July session, it is mandatory for aspirants to go through the eligibility criteria. Some of JIPMER PG 2020 eligibility conditions has been mentioned below.
Candidates should possess an MBBS/BDS degree from an institution that is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI)
They must have completed the rotatory internship of twelve months before June 30, 2020.
Aspirants must have secured requisite aggregate score as given below in MBBS/BDS examination for category (including PwD) in the MBBS or BDS examination.

JIPMER PG 2020 application form July session will be made available on March 4. Only candidates who fulfils the eligibility criteria will be considered eligible for JIPMER PG registration 2020. The last date to fill the application form of JIPMER PG is April 9, 2020. The process of application form can be filled in four steps, which includes registration, candidate login, payment of application fees and printout of confirmation page. For the better convenience of aspirants, below are the steps to fill JIPMER PG application form 2020:
Registration - The first step of JIPMER PG application form is to fill in general details like name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.
Candidate login: After this candidates receive login credentials on their registered mobile number and email id. It is advised to preserve the candidate login details for future references.
Filling the application form: Using the login credentials, aspirants need to login to fill the remaining steps of JIPMER PG application form, which includes personal qualification, contact and other required details. Also, they need to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, signature, category certificate, Class 10 and MBBS mark sheet
Fee payment: After completing the above steps candidates have to pay the fee for application. The form fee for application form. Payment of the fee can only be done through Net banking, Credit/Debit cards. In case of payment failure candidates have to make payment again.
Printing of confirmation page: This is the last step of the application form where a confirmation page will display on the screen. Candidates are advised to verify all the details mentioned on the confirmation page and download the same for future reference.

JIPMER Puducherry will release the list of JIPMER PG exam centres 2020 July session along with the application form on March 4. The exam centres of JIPMER PG 2020 are the list of cities in which the exam will be held. In the last session, JIPMER PG January session was held in 10 major cities of India. In third step of filling the application form, candidates will be required to select any JIPMER PG exam centre 2020 in which they wish to take the entrance examination. The cutoff of JIPMER PG 2020 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to secure in order to qualify and be eligible for admissions. JIPMER, Puducherry will release JIPMER PG 2020 cutoff percentile for July session through the information brochure, while the corresponding cutoff marks will be declared along with the result on May 22. JIPMER PG 2020 counselling July session for admission to MD/MS and MDS courses will be conducted in offline mode. Aspirants included in the result will be called for JIPMER PG counselling round one which will be organised on June 11, 2020, at Mini Auditorium of Puducherry campus. All the eligible candidates needs to report at the counselling venue as per their rank and specified time allotted for registration, verification and admission process. JIPMER PG counselling 2020 July session will be held in three rounds including final round of allotment. JIPMER PG seat allotment process will be held for admission to 100 MD/MS seats. After the completion of first round, the authority will conduct the second round of counselling in the last week of June, for filling of vacant seats left. The seats will be allotted on the basis of JIPMER PG rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses, seats availability, reservation criteria and other factors. Once the seats are allotted through the counselling of JIPMER PG 2020, aspirants need to deposit the fees to reserve the particular seat.
JIPMER PG Counselling 2020 involves a number of steps as mentioned below:
Registration - Candidates have to first get themselves registered for counselling. Only those aspirants whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible to sit for counselling
Biometric fingerprint/Photo verification - On the day of counselling candidates’ biometric fingerprint and image/photo verification will be done. If the same do not match then the candidature of those candidates will be cancelled and if need be legal action will be taken against them
Certificate verification - Candidates have to submit their required certificates in original as well as a self-attested copy of the same. The authority will retain the original certificates of candidates and return it only after completion of course or if relieved in mid-way
Counselling - Candidates who complete the steps above will be eligible for counselling. Physical presence of candidates at the counselling venue is mandatory otherwise they will be marked absent

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as laid down by the exam conducting authority will be able to fill the application form of JIPMER PG 2020.
As many as 100 seats are offered in MD/MS program out of which 5 are reserved for NRI candidates and foreign nationals. Further 5 more seats are reserved for sponsored candidates.
