Important: Candidates must note that the state of Andhra Pradesh does not participate in 15% central pool of all India quota seats. This means, 15% all India quota seats are not reserved in government medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Thus, admissions to 100% MBBS and BDS seats in government medical colleges along with private medical institutions will be done by the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada on the basis of NEET 2017 scores.

AP MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2017
Candidates who wish to take admission in government, private and central colleges located in the state of Andhra Pradesh will mandatory fulfill the eligibility criteria. Candidates can check below for Andhra Pradesh MBBS eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have appeared in NEET 2017
Candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
Candidates belonging to General category must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, while candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (OBC) have to secure at least 40% marks in HSC/10+2
Candidates must have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as or on December 31, 2017
Candidates who will appear in NEET 2017 and are desirous to take admission in medical and dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh have to mandatory fill APMBBS Admissions 2017 application form. Candidates can check below for the detailed information:
- The application form of AP MBBS 2017 will be released in online mode only
- APMBBS 2017 application form is scheduled to be released on July 5, 2017, and will continue until July 12, 2017
- Candidates will have to pay the examination fee either via AP Online/TS Online/E-seva/Mee seva or Credit Card/Debit Card
- The last date to fill application form is July 12, 2017
- Candidates who will not fill APMBBS 2017 application form (AP EAMCET Medical 2017) will not be eligible for admissions to colleges located in Andhra Pradesh
The counselling conducting authority of AP MBBS 2017, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, will release a merit list for admissions to 100% MBBS and BDS seats located in the state. This must be remembered that 15% all India quota seats are not reserved in government medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh, as the state does not participate in the central pool. However, admissions to private medical universities will also be done by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada on the basis of NEET 2017 scores only. Andhra Pradesh MBBS 2017 merit list will consist of candidate’s name, NEET 2017 roll number, NEET 2017 Rank, date of birth etc.
