Aryamol Mathew: Yes, I have always been passionate about healthcare, and I’m proud to have continued in the same field after graduation. I currently work as a staff nurse at Apollo Hospital, Mumbai, where I apply the knowledge and skills gained during my time at East Point College of Nursing. The curriculum and clinical exposure I received helped align my interests with professional practice seamlessly.

Aryamol Mathew: My professional journey began immediately after graduation when I joined Apollo Hospital. The hospital environment has offered me hands-on experience, enabling me to grow as a confident and competent nurse. One of the most memorable experiences was participating in the national-level intercollegiate cultural fest Samskruthi and engaging in health awareness camps in and around Bengaluru. These opportunities not only enhanced our exposure to society but also instilled empathy and a deeper sense of humanity—an essential quality in healthcare.

Aryamol Mathew: Campus life at East Point was dynamic, enriching, and holistic. Our days started with engaging theory classes and lab sessions, followed by hands-on clinical postings. Evenings often included discussions, seminars, and relaxing moments with friends. As the nursing program was fully residential and located within a multidisciplinary campus—including East Point Medical College’s 1000-bedded hospital, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Allied Health departments—I had ample opportunities to collaborate with peers from other disciplines. This interdisciplinary exposure helped expand my perspective and created the ideal atmosphere for my professional growth.

Aryamol Mathew: Beyond academics, I actively participated in organizing health camps, seminars, conferences, and college festivals, which greatly enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
