MBBS is the abbreviation for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. It is an academic program that is part of the medical profession. The course length for MBBS is 5 and a 1⁄2 years. The semester wise pattern consisting of 9 semesters is observed by this course. It is an undergraduate college degree course with a syllabus that covers subjects such as medicine and surgery. However, although the name implies 2 distinct degrees, it is only 1 degree. The goal of the course is to educate students on both surgical technique and medical research, which, depending on the master's course they are willing to apply, also can be divided into 2 separate study streams. The fees for MBBS vary from college to university standards and depend on the entrance exam for MBBS.
