The student or candidate’s age should be a minimum of 17 years.
The student should pursue a science stream in 10+2 with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with mathematics being an optional subject.
The students should complete their 10+2 examination with at least 50 to 60% from a recognized board. Students who belong to reserved category need to attain at least 40%.

First the student needs to fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned.
For getting admission to a MBBS course a student compulsorily needs to give NEET entrance exam. NEET entrance exam is conducted by NTA. It is conducted every year. This year 13 Lakh students appeared for NEET examination.
The results are declared by NTA on their official website. After the results are declared a mandatory counselling session is kept in every state. First a national wide counselling is organized where only 15% of the whole seats are allotted to students who scored the desired marks. After which 85% of the seats lie with every state for the medical colleges located there. Which means that when Kerala counselling is organized 85% seats are to be allotted to medical aspirants who are residents of Kerala. In the counselling session the seats are offered to students on two basis. 1st is on the basis of colleges listed by students as their preferred college and next the rank scored by them in NEET entrance exam.
Once they get their preferred college the candidate needs to fulfill further formalities and they secure their admission in the college for which they have been allotted the seat.
There are no specializations available in MBBS courses. MBBS course is an undergraduate program hence it does not include any specialization degrees available and it also does not have any further extra courses.
