Only the eligible candidates who fulfil the set eligibility criteria will be allowed for admission to around 558 MBBS and 332 BDS seats offered in government and private colleges located in the state. As per the basic eligibility criteria, it is mandatory for aspirants to qualify the common entrance test - NEET. On the basis of marks obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, students will be granted admission to medical and dental colleges under 85% state quota seats, while the remaining 15% seats in all government medical colleges will be reserved for All India Quota candidates. The counselling for AIQ seats for Chhattisgarh MBBS admissions 2019 will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Aspirant must be a citizen of India for admission to Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS 2019.
Candidates must be at least of 17 years old on or before December 31, 2019.
The upper age limit of candidates should be 25 years and they should be born on or after May 5, 1994.
Students must have passed Class 12 or equivalent entrance examination from Chhattisgarh board or any other board recognised by Chhattisgarh government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as the main subjects.
General category candidates should have obtained at least 50% in Class 12 or equivalent exam, while 40% must be secured by SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
It is important to fulfil the following domicile criteria to be eligible for Chhattisgarh MBBS admission 2019:
A candidate should be born in the state of Chhattisgarh.
An aspirant or their parent/s should be the resident of the state.
The parent of candidate should be working with the Chhattisgarh or Central Government and are living in the state.
A candidate or his/her parent should has/have resided in the state for at least 5 years. An aspirant belonging to this category must fulfill the following criteria:
An aspirant must have completed at least three years of education from any institute located in the state or undivided Madhya Pradesh.
An applicant who has not passed Class 8 from the Chhattisgarh must have appeared in PSU of Chhattisgarh state and must have completed graduation from a university located in the state for Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS admission 2019.
Candidates must have completed Class 11 and Class 12 from a University or board located in the state.
He/she must have studied until Class 5 from the state.
NEET cutoff 2019 must be secured as prescribed by the NTA to pass the medical entrance examination. The category-wise NEET qualifying percentile is mentioned below.

The application form of Chhattisgarh MBBS 2019 had been released on June 21. Only the eligible candidates were allowed to participate for Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS registration within the stipulated time. The application form was available in online mode only.
During the Chhattisgarh MBBS application form 2019, students were required to register themselves by entering the asked personal details such as name, date of birth, category, gender, email ID, mobile number among others. After successful registration, the login credentials had been sent to the email ID and mobile number.
The registered students had to log in using the credentials. After logging in, candidates had to upload their passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression, as per the specification mentioned by the authority. Thereafter, the academic and communication details had to be filled which contains fields such as NEET UG roll number, NEET 2019 scores, All India Rank, Class 12 board and marks details, mobile number, address among others.
Once the details are submitted, the requisite amount of Chhattisgarh MBBS application fee 2019 had to be paid in online mode through credit/debit cards and net banking. A printout of Chhattisgarh MBBS application form 2019 had to be taken for future references.
DME, Raipur had released the merit list for mop-up round on July 22. The authority had released seat allotment list and merit list of NRI candidates for round 2 and further round on July 15. The authority had released the merit list of Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS 2019 for round 2 on July 13. Only aspirants who have qualified NEET UG entrance exam and registered before the last date are included in the state merit list. With the inclusion in the Chhattisgarh MBBS 2019 merit list, the selected aspirants are called for counselling process.
The merit list of Chhattisgarh MBBS 2019 is prepared on the basis of scores obtained in medical entrance exam. The state merit list displays the name of candidate, NEET roll number, scores mentioned inNEET result 2019, overall rank, Chhattisgarh UR rank, course applied for, category and Chhattisgarh Overall Rank.
The counselling of Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS 2019 is conducted in online mode. Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur is conducting two rounds of Chhattisgarh MBBS 2019 counselling. A mop-up round will also be conducted for admission to Chhattisgarh MBBS 2019, in case of any seats left vacant. Aspirants included in the state merit list will be eligible to appear for online counselling sessions.
