The Directorate General of Medical Services (Indian Army) has released the second allotment list for the Indian Army BSc Nursing 2024 or MNS 2024 admission in online mode at joinindianarmy.nic.in. A link to download the Indian Army BSc nursing result is provided here. The screening process for the shortlisted candidates for BSc nursing was held from September 2 to 14.

The selection of candidates in Indian Army BSc nursing courses will be based solely on their NEET exam scores. Female applications who are unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or widowed have to register and qualify NEET 2024 for admission to a four-year BSc Nursing course at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).

The selection of candidates through Indian Army BSc Nursing 2024 admission will be based on the final merit cum choice prepared using NEET UG score 2024, Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English (ToGIGE), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) and Interview, subject to medical fitness and vacancies at each College.

Indian Army NEET Counselling 2024 - Mandatory requirements for MNS admission

All aspiring candidates who wish to qualify MNS exam 2024 are required to fulfill certain mandatory requirements. These Indian Army BSc Nursing mandatory requirements ensure that only the most eligible and deserving candidates are granted admission.

Indian Army NEET Counselling 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants appearing for BSc nursing entrance exam should be aware of below mentioned MNS 2024 eligibility criteria.

  • Only female candidates who are unmarried/ divorced/ legally separated/ widow without encumbrances can apply for MNS 2024 exam.

  • Applicants must be citizens of India.

  • One must have been born between October 1, 1998 and September 30, 2007.

  • One must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent exam in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English as regular students.

  • MNS aspirants have to pass their class 12 exam with not less than 50% aggregate marks, from a Statutory/Recognized Board/University/Examining Body.

Indian Army NEET Counselling 2024 - Physical Requirements

Candidates willing to appear for the MNS 2024 have to fulfilli certain physical eligibility requirements, which can be checked below.

  • The minimum height required for entry into the Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm.

  • However, candidates from Hill and Northeastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147 cm.

NOTE: It should be noted that medical fitness of the candidate will be decided as per the medical fitness standards and criteria prescribed for grant of Commission in the Armed Forces, as amended from time to time.

Indian Army NEET Counselling 2024 - How to apply?

The Indian Army has made a major change in the admission process for Indian Army BSc Nursing 2024 by scrapping its entrance exam. The selection of candidates will now be solely based on their performance in the NEET UG exam.

The Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) will commence the online application process for Indian Army BSc Nursing 2024. The application process of MNS 2024 is conducted in online mode, and candidates can follow the steps given below to fill the Indian Army Nursing 2024 application form:

  • Visit the official website of the Indian Army, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, and register with the required details.

  • Fill in the application form by providing personal details, academic qualifications, and contact information.

  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents in the specified size and format.

  • Pay the MNS 2024 application processing fee of Rs. 200/- (except for SC/ST candidates) through the online payment gateway.

  • Take a printout of the duly filled application form and payment confirmation page for future reference.

  • On successful submission of the application, candidates will receive a provisional registration number (reference number) on their registered email id and phone number.

  • Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates and the notification to upload their NEET 2024 scores when notified.

Indian Army NEET Counselling 2024 - Selection Process

The Indian Army BSc Nursing admission process for 2024 involves the following selection process:

Short listing through NEET (UG) score

Candidates who have registered and applied on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and have qualified NEET 2024 will be shortlisted based on their NEET scores. The registration numbers of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the website.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Test of General Intelligence & General English (TOGIGE), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview, and Medical examination at a designated venue. The MNS admit cards 2024 can be downloaded from the website.

Verification of Documents

All shortlisted candidates for Indian Army BSc nursing admission will be required to produce original documents as listed in the admit card at the time of the MNS interview for verification.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to possess all original documents at the time of the interview. Non-possession of documents as per eligibility criteria or any misrepresentation of information will lead to disqualification from the selection process.

Test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGIGE)

The TOGIGE will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of two marks each, with negative marking of 0.5 for each incorrect answer. Candidates will have to answer 40 questions in 30 minutes.

Psychological Assessment Test (PAT)

The PAT is a qualifying examination, and its score will not be considered for preparing the final merit list.

Interview

The candidates will be interviewed by a Board of Officers at a designated venue.

Medical Examination

All shortlisted candidates will undergo a Special Medical Board (SMB) at a designated venue. The candidates will be informed about their medical status, including the procedure for requesting an Appeal Medical Board, by the President Special Medical Board.

The girl candidates who wish to apply for AFMC nursing course must have standard minimum height of 144cms and weight of 36 kg.

For boy candidates the standard minimum height should be 157.5 cms and weight of 47 kg is required


Those girls or boys with even 1 kg more  weight than standard weight will be rejected .


Other eligibility criteria

The candidate must be an Indian citizens

Age of candidate must be between 17 to 25 years. Candidate must be born between 1st october 1995 and 30th September 2003 .

The candidate must be physically fit.

Indian Army BSc Nursing 2022 or MNS 2022 dates/schedule has been released by the DGMS or Directorate General of Medical Services (Indian Army) on their official website. It is a national level entrance exam for admission to b.sc nursing course. It is an online mode of examination that provides 220 seats. Last date of submission of application was 31-May-2022. Eligibility criteria

-Only female candidates who are Citizen of India

-Should have appeared for NEET (UG) Exam

-The female candidate should have cleared class 12 or equivalent examination (12 years of schooling) in her first attempt

Directorate General of Medical Services is the competent authority for Indian Army BSc Nursing and admission for the same is now being done through NEET scores, the authority no longer conducting its own entrance test,

application form for Indian Army BSc Nursing 2022 was released on 11th May, and the last date to apply for the same was 31st May,

The eligibility criteria regarding this is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and english securing 50% aggregate, they are also required to meet the medical fitness criteria as in terms of X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen & pelvis). The minimum height should not be less than 148 cm, however relaxation by 5cm for candidates belonging to Western Himalayan region, Eastern Himalayan region and Scheduled Tribes
