DU MBBS Admission 2023- Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the admission for DU MBBS 2023. The DU 2023 MBBS round 2 registration has started. Candidates can register for round 2 NEET UG counselling 2023 till August 14.
Candidates will have to fill the DU MBBS application form 2023 to participate in admission process. Only NEET 2023 qualified candidates will be able to participate in DU MBBS/BDS 2023 admissions. DU MBBS admission 2023 will be conducted for both 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota seats. The DU MBBS/BDS 2023 application form will be released by MCC.

While filling DU MBBS application form 2023, aspirants will have to enter their personal, academic, NEET 2023, communication and other details. Also, aspirants will have to provide their choices of colleges as well as courses, in which they wish to take admission. On the basis of the choices filled by candidates in the counselling session, as well as the seat availability and NEET scores, DU MBBS 2023 admissions will be granted.

Before applying for DU MBBS admission 2023, it is important for aspirants to check the basic eligibility criteria to be fulfilled. Check basic DU NEET 2023 eligibility criteria for admission below.
Age:
As per the NEET eligibility criteria 2023, aspirants must have attained an age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2023 by the end of the academic year.
Qualifying exam:
Students should have qualified/appearing in the Class 12 exam under 10+2 system through CBSE/Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE)/Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi or any equivalent exam from any recognised school located in National Capital Territory (NCt) of Delhi only.
Also, medical candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or Pratachar Vidyalaya will also be eligible for DU MBBS admissions.
General applicants must secure at least 50% in Class 12 to appear for NEET exam, while 40% must be secured for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Also General PwD (Person with Disabilities) must obtain 45% in 10+2.
Candidates must be National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG entrance test qualified. Candidates belonging to General category must secure at least 50th percentile in NEET 2023, while SC/ST/OBC must obtain 40th percentile. However, as per NEET 2023 cutoff, the General-PH have to secure the 45th percentile. The category-wise cutoff percentile along with equivalent marks can be checked from the table below.

While filling the application form of DU MBBS 2023, aspirants need to enter their name, roll number, NEET application form 2023 number, date of birth, gender, category, mobile number, email ID and other required details. After the registration process, the login credentials will be sent to the registered email IDs. They also need to provide their academic, NEET-UG, communication and others.

Candidates whose applications will be accepted will be included in the DU NEET merit list 2023 which will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. The merit list for each round of counselling will be released separately. The seat allotment list published by MCC is considered as the merit list of NEET DU 2023, which will mention All India Rank (AIR), category, colleges and other details. Shortlisted candidates included in DU MBBS merit list will be called for counselling process.
MCC conducts counselling of DU MBBS/BDS 2023. The authority conducts DU MBBS 2023 counselling in three rounds including a mop-up round. The centralised process for DU MBBS counselling 2023 will be held for allotment of seats to three medical and one dental college affiliated to the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc), Delhi University.
While registering for DU MBBS admissions, candidates need to provide their preferences of choices as well as courses, in which admission is desired. Based on the choices filled, NEET UG scores, seats availability, seats reserved and several factors, admission to DU MBBS/BDS 2023 will be granted.
After admission to DU MBBS/BDS 2023 colleges, the shortlisted aspirants need to visit the DU FMSc admission website for the registration process under 15% AIQ and 85% state quota seats, separately. For DU MBBS/BDS admissions with FMSc, aspirants need to register themselves by entering their email ID, mobile number, roll number, date of birth, captcha code and other details.
