Hello,

The marks required to get admission under the state quota in NEET vary based on several factors, including the state you are applying in, the category you belong to, and the specific college. However, I can provide some general guidelines based on past trends:

  1. General Category : For admission to government medical colleges under the state quota, general category students typically need to score around 550-600+ marks in NEET.

  2. OBC Category : OBC candidates usually require slightly lower marks than general category candidates, often in the range of 500-550+ marks.

  3. SC/ST Categories : SC/ST candidates usually need around 450-500+ marks to secure a seat in government medical colleges under the state quota.

These figures can vary significantly depending on the competition, the number of seats available, and the specific state you are applying in. For a more precise estimate, it is advisable to look at the previous year's cutoff marks for the state and category you are interested in. This information is typically available on the official websites of the respective state counseling authorities.

Hope it helps you!

Hello Vipin
You have not mentioned your category to which you belong so considering you as a general category candidate with 320 marks in Neet you won't get mbbs even in private college .
Now it's difficult to predict which course and college you will get , as it depends upon  neet cut off 2024.
Cut off keeps changing every year.  It depends upon certain factors such as number of candidates who appeared in exam, Toughness level of exam,  seat intake,  performance of the students and previous year cut off.
Cut off neet  2024 is too high . For general category candidate it is 50th percentile ie score between 720-164.  For sc/st and obc it is 40th percentile ie score between 163-129.
Hence for college prediction following link will help you out.
