Candidates who wish to apply for Bihar state admission NEET UG 2024 must read the following eligibility criteria set by the authority which are mentioned below.

• Candidates must be a citizen of India

• For Bihar MBBS/BDS admission, candidates should fill out the application form to register themselves.

• Candidates must be of at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2024.

• Candidates who belong to the following domicile categories are eligible for Bihar MBBS admission process:

1. One whose parent(s) is a permanent resident of India.

2. Candidates whose parent(s) are refugees in the Bihar state.

3. Candidates whose one of parents is not a permanent resident of the state but working for the Government of Bihar.

4. The parents of students who are in a transferable job in Bihar and Jharkhand state.

5. The candidate's parents should be working in the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India.

6. Candidates whose parent/s are working with the United Nations and are recruited in Bihar.

• General category candidates must have passed class 12 qualifying examination with 50% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. On the other hand, SC/ST/OBC candidates must have scored 40% in the qualifying or equivalent exams.

• Candidate should also be medically fit.

• NEET 2024 cutoff is the minimum qualifying percentile that must be secured to be qualified for admission.

The Bihar NEET 2024 application form is released by BCECEB in online mode. Only eligible candidates can apply for the Bihar MBBS admission 2024. During the online Bihar MBBS registration, candidates will be required to register themselves by entering their email ID and mobile number. The UGMAC registration ID will be sent to the registered number and email ID to log in for filling out the application form. Candidates will be required to pay the fee through offline mode using E-challan or using online mode using credit/debit cards or net banking.

Thereafter, personal, academic, NEET 2024, communication, and other basic details will be filled in by the candidates. After the application form is completely filled, candidates must take a printout of the filled-in admission form, which will later be submitted at the time of the counselling and admission process.

Below is the list of documents required by the candidate at the time of counselling. The unavailability of any of the documents will lead to the cancellation of candidature.

• Original NEET admit card

• Passing certificate/mark sheet/admit card of class 10 or equivalent exam

• Class 12 or equivalent exam passing certificate/mark sheet/admit card

• Residential certificate

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Six copies of passport size photograph which was used in NEET application form 2024 and admit card.

BCECEB releases the Bihar NEET merit list with the names of the candidates who will qualify NEET and will register themselves. The inclusion of the candidates in the state merit list leads to participation in the counselling process. In order to download the merit rank, candidates will be required to enter their UCMAC ID and date of birth as filled in the application form.

As mentioned above, to be included in the Bihar MBBS 2024 merit list, it is mandatory for candidates to appear and qualify in the NEET entrance exam.
